I’ve eaten here twice before(pretty good those times), and at plenty of Churrascarias in general, however I was very disappointed with my most recent visit. I’ll start with some positives
The hot bar food was all delicious. The carne/pollo guisado were both tender and very well seasoned. Rice & beans were both good, but beans were kind of bland. The staff was very nice.
However.. the main point of the restaurant, it’s Churrasco, was it’s weakest. The regular Picanha had a massive fat cap - each piece was 75% fat and 25% steak, and unfortunately the fat wasn’t even cooked through all the way so it was unenjoyable (which other places usually trim down or off after slicing), and didn’t even taste like it had salt. 0 flavor. Brisket tasted very, very strange and simultaneously under seasoned . I can’t quite put my finger on it but it tasted as if might of been a bit old. My partner and I only had a couple pieces and couldn’t eat anymore because it was that off putting. Grilled pineapple & garlic picanha were the best items we got, but the overall experience was underwhelming - especially for a 60 dollar price point. Maybe it was a bad day, but I don’t think I’ll...
Read moreI was in the middle of a home inspection, just 20 minutes away from this spot, when a special friend—whom I hadn’t seen in over 20 years—recommended it. She took a chance, and I’m so glad she did. This place truly delivered.
The pastéis were easily the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful. The coxinha, shaped like a heart, was surprisingly even better when cold—a rare treat. I washed it all down with an ice-cold Guaraná soda, which brought everything together perfectly. And the dessert? Simply delicious.
If you’re not from the area, this place is a must-visit. You’ll get a genuine taste of Brazil’s rich and vibrant food culture. The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the experience even more memorable.
I’m grateful for this little detour—it reminded me of how amazing Brazilian cuisine truly is. I’ll absolutely be...
Read moreFood was amazing! I recommend the chicken wrapped in bacon, and the garlic beef pieces. My only critique was that I took my meal "to go" and everything was weighed. The cuts of beef were very fatty (but very flavorful) and there was a lot of fat on the meat that I threw out, that I paid for. The chef and staff greeted me and said how everything worked there and encouraged me to ask questions if I had any. Oh and the puffy cheezy-rolls are a MUST! The fresh pineapple roasted with cinnamon and sugar is a sure thing for dessert, although it's almost like a bakery with all of the pastries available. The downfall is the restaurant's location, makes it very difficult to get there and leave because it's directly across from the metal bridge in...
