Evergreen Juice Bar — Restaurant in New Milford

A friend from had recommended Evergreen to me a little while ago. While I decided to stop in then, I also decided to stop in on Sunday for another small treat.

During my first visit, I was happy with their “Beet-It” Smoothie and “Spiced-Avo” toast, however something the other day just appeared to be “off.”

From the outside, I had trouble gaging if this was the same shop. Everything just felt “dark.” Once inside, the decor was “okay,” but the shop felt empty and bare as opposed to being charming and lively.

A few of my friends have recommended trying “Golden Milk,” a spiced, inviting, and warming drink. I decided to get it iced to compliment the warmer weather and to be honest, I was fairly disappointed.

The drink came with almond milk and for a “milk-based” drink, I didn’t get enough of that silky milk flavor. I immediately tasted the ginger and turmeric but after a few sips all I could taste was melted ice. To me, it’s just a shame knowing how good the drink could have tasted if it was better blended.

Personally, I didn’t have a “bad experience” stopping in again, but I think I just realized that Evergreen is fairly average when it comes to a juice bar. With a lot of other places to explore in New Milford, I would rather spend my money on something that “wow’s me” as opposed to being...

I absolutely love Evergreen Juice Bar! I stop by at least once or twice a week for a delicious bowl, smoothie, or pressed juice.
