If you like bread then this is the place to go. Everything we had came with bread, even the patatas bravas came on toasted bunny bread for some reason. Why? Why was it served with ranch and dill? Both things not found in Spanish cuisine. I am all for innovation of flavors into cuisines but those were choices straight from a cafeteria at best. The menu descriptions were vague, the prices were high, and the portions were small. I tipped to get my own drinks and plates and silverware. The only above mediocre and well described things were the olives and manchego toast. Both staples of the former but not comparable by any means. The duxelle wasn't really a duxelle and the olives were served with a 1/3 loaf of BREAD! Maybe it was there to justify the price point of a minuscule portion of olives. The white anchovies were described and executed poorly, which is sad for a dish that is pure assembly. Was so unbalanced that I question the creators palate. For having olives and anchovies incorporated in the dish it lacked salt and acidity some how and was overwhelmingly sweet. Was looking forward to trying the octopus but they had run out. Anna's tried to ride the coat tales of Mimi's and failed horribly for something that pretty much could have been turn key. Don't be fooled by the familiar structure for there was not a familiar face let alone feel to the place. I was really hoping the segregation from the upstairs and downstairs would not have come back but sure enough you still have to pay to sit with the elite upstairs. Save your time, money, and...

While the drinks were fine, the bartending staff here was extremely rude to us and other paying customers. I witnessed both the male and female ignore, roll their eyes and speak unkindly to customers. The female bartender actually referred to me and my sisters as annoying a* b* for simply asking for our ticket after sitting there for 30+ minutes, empty cups and ready to pay. Truly, not worth the hassle. There are lots of bars on that street,...
Read moreHadn’t been in awhile. Ordered a drink from the bottom shelf, a bottle I didn’t recognize that was surrounded by cheap whiskey. It was a $22 shot, which I wasn’t warned about the price, and then when I paid the total the bartender just kept my change? It was only a couple of bucks and I probably would have left it as a tip but I don’t know if I’ve ever had a bartender just keep my leftover money without me saying so. The bar is pretty much empty as this is happening. A very strange experience! Make sure you double check prices and ask for your change back, staff is not...
