I live right by Igor's. In 3 years, I have probably been here 5 times. 5 times too many. Used to be a place you could get a veggie burger. Not anymore. But that's not the worst problem. Unpleasant bartender (bald with long reddish beard) was really rude about my service dog. Asked about "papers". Now, my dog has a certification from place that trained him. He also has a registration card. Many people in the disability community hate me for having this. However, it is linked to an affidavit. But according to ADA Federal law it is not required. I pointed to card in harness. He did not understand and said anyone can put on a harness. I took out the card and showed him. Look I get people have fake service dogs. He has been bitten by fake SDs. But you have to follow ADA. Only bathuroom is on second floor and not ADA accessible. I can with difficulty climb up a rickety staircase but people who use wheelchairs can't. I now have five people boycotting. Want to join? Wish ADAPT was more...
Read moreDon’t use ATM at this establishment. Cheated out of $20. Was told that ATM employee would be in in the morning and after $was counted, I would be reimbursed. When I returned to Igor’s, employee had”no knowledge” of my situation. I then pointed out the posted note still there with my name and contact information. After seeing the note, the employee was defensive stating that he “wasn’t aware” and he didn’t know “who told” me that. The note was proof that I had spoken to an employee. I have no reason to lie about $20. I was refused owner’s contact information. He would only give his name-Zack. He wasn’t willing to give any further assistance with resolving my issue. Losing $20 in an ATM is not a big deal, but considering Igor’s only accept cash is disturbing. I tend to think that their lack of concern for their customers use of an ATM located inside Igor’s is how they increase their income! Spend your $ elsewhere or risk being treated rudely by...
Read moreCompletely unhinged bartender. Went with a group and within two minutes she instigated a fight with a member of our group, screamed profanities at us, and threatened to call the police. This was my first time coming here and I didn’t even interact with the bartender until we walked out and she cursed me out. This was over our group member asking for a que ball. Nobody in the group was aggressive or rude; the bartender was 100% the instigator of the conflict. The owners or managers should do a better job of hiring employees who have basic customer service skills and can maintain basic decency throughout an interaction. Very embarrassing for her to drive fifteen people out of an establishment!
Update: just looked through your reviews and there are several critiquing your customer service. I came in excited about the vibe, and my experience was ruined by the employee’s attitude. This seems like a common issue, and I would look into how your bartenders...
