Our family experienced tragedy and requested the pastor Samuel Blakes for the funeral. I was asked do I pay tithes and when was the last time. I didn't think nothing of the question and told her the month prior. Days past by and no answer so I called back and was asked under what name I paid, when, where and how. Being devastated from my tragedy my answers weren't accurate but I did say how I pay tithes. After days of calling and being talked down to by Angel and her assistant. I finally had the receipts but by then my calls stopped being answered. I was hurt by this because I actually been going to the church and even was a part of their Turkey giveaway with Cash Money and tithing. For so long I didn't want to call it like it was because I felt somehow I shouldn't talk about my church. But how I was treated was real and it came from my church. I started listening to Bishop SR Blake's by God's purpose and not on purpose. I was listening to a financial teaching from someone else on YouTube, and afterwards, and one of Bishop Blakes messages came up. I've been hooked ever since. I haven't missed a day of prayer, Bible study or virtual church since then. I love his messages, how he's led by the Holy Spirit and how the love of God just pours out of him. My husband and my daughter have also become avid listeners as well which really touches my soul as a woman, wife and mother of God. I pray that my husband and I can take the 10 hour drive to New Home Ministries to hear Bishop Blakes personally. What a true Blessing he is! Praise God for this church and this wonderful man of God! I Was a Member at N. H. East Chapter for 16 years before Hurricane Katrina, it is a beautiful Place to Worship the Pastors R.C.
