A Hidden Gem! I recently visited New Orleans and stumbled upon this breakfast spot after a friend recommended it and I can’t stop raving about it! The first time I went, I had already eaten at another, more well-known restaurant (which honestly, I don’t understand the hype about). That other place had long lines, poor service and underwhelming food. But enough about that - let’s talk about this hidden gem! From the moment I waked it, I could tell this place was special. I didn’t take any pictures, but trust me when I say it was love at first sight. The food looked amazing, the ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the presentation was superb. I went back the very next morning and it did not disappoint, and the food was as absolutely delicious- fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and potatoes cooked to perfection. Everything tasted as good as it looked and if not better. To the team behind this amazing spot: Congratulations! If you’re in New Orleans, do yourself a favor and skip the overhyped places - this is where...
Read moreThis evening, myself and 29 friends descended upon Izzat and quite literally filled every single seat in the restaurant. We fully expected a wait for food with such a large group, but what happened instead was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff handled us with flawless efficiency. Our meals arrived quickly, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.
The food was absolutely divine, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the service was warm, gracious, and attentive in every way. The camaraderie and hospitality of the entire team made us feel like honored guests at a private celebration.
If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give it twice. The prices are refreshingly affordable, especially for French cuisine of this caliber. Do yourself a favor and dine here. You will walk out smiling, satisfied, and already planning...
Read moreWe had such a wonderful experience at the newly opened Izzat! The food was exceptional – I ordered the steak frites, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while my friend had the grilled salmon, which was just as impressive. We ended the meal with the crème brûlée, and it was the perfect sweet finish – creamy, rich, and delicious.
What really made the evening special was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We even had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, who was so sweet and brought such a wonderful energy to the place. You can feel the passion behind everything they do.
We traveled all the way from Rhode Island, and I can honestly say this was one of the highlights of our trip. We would absolutely return for the amazing food, outstanding service, and unforgettable desserts. Izzat is a true gem in New Orleans –...
