We had such a wonderful experience at the newly opened Izzat! The food was exceptional – I ordered the steak frites, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while my friend had the grilled salmon, which was just as impressive. We ended the meal with the crème brûlée, and it was the perfect sweet finish – creamy, rich, and delicious. What really made the evening special was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We even had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, who was so sweet and brought such a wonderful energy to the place. You can feel the passion behind everything they do. We traveled all the way from Rhode Island, and I can honestly say this was one of the highlights of our trip. We would absolutely return for the amazing food, outstanding service, and unforgettable desserts. Izzat is a true gem in New Orleans – highly recommend!

From the moment we walked into Izzat, we felt welcomed—the owner greeted us with a big smile and genuine warmth. Our server, Eliz, was wonderful and recommended the Croque Madame, which was absolutely delicious. The salad was crisp and refreshing, and the sandwiches were packed with flavor. My husband raved about the Eggs Benedict, and the crêpe was outstanding—different from any other crêpe we’ve had, in the best way possible. The atmosphere gave off cozy French morning vibes, making the whole experience feel relaxed and charming. On top of it all, they even offer a military discount, which is such a thoughtful touch. This is easily my favorite new crêpe spot in town—a must-try for anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

I stumbled upon Izzat while walking to another restaurant for breakfast. I had originally wanted crepes and the creperie I walked to from my hotel was temporarily closed. As I neared by second-choice breakfast restaurant, Izzat’s menu caught my eye because they had crepes. Apparently they had just opened 5 days ago and I was one of their first customers. The owner is very friendly and excited for her new restaurant to succeed. My ham and cheese crepe was delicious - light and flaky around the edges with a nice fresh salad on the side. My latte was very good too, although I do prefer them iced, which wasn’t available. I recommend you give this cute little place a shot. Apparently their French inspired dinners are fantastic.

A Hidden Gem! I recently visited New Orleans and stumbled upon this breakfast spot after a friend recommended it and I can’t stop raving about it! The first time I went, I had already eaten at another, more well-known restaurant (which honestly, I don’t understand the hype about). That other place had long lines, poor service and underwhelming food. But enough about that - let’s talk about this hidden gem! From the moment I waked it, I could tell this place was special. I didn’t take any pictures, but trust me when I say it was love at first sight. The food looked amazing, the ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the presentation was superb. I went back the very next morning and it did not disappoint, and the food was as absolutely delicious- fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and potatoes cooked to perfection. Everything tasted as good as it looked and if not better. To the team behind this amazing spot: Congratulations! If you’re in New Orleans, do yourself a favor and skip the overhyped places - this is where...

This evening, myself and 29 friends descended upon Izzat and quite literally filled every single seat in the restaurant. We fully expected a wait for food with such a large group, but what happened instead was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff handled us with flawless efficiency. Our meals arrived quickly, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.

The food was absolutely divine, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the service was warm, gracious, and attentive in every way. The camaraderie and hospitality of the entire team made us feel like honored guests at a private celebration.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give it twice. The prices are refreshingly affordable, especially for French cuisine of this caliber. Do yourself a favor and dine here. You will walk out smiling, satisfied, and already planning...
