This was a bad experience, I was looking to purchase some Tory Burch sandals for my Queen usually when I order things I'll get it shipped to my resident but this time they were in the store in my city so I thought it would have been better to pick them up and have them without waiting for them to be shipped. So when I tried to purchase them on the website and do curbside the website was acting up which made me have to go inside the store. I must say the store was very clean and well organized, so as I walked in looking for the designer's section in the store to get what I went there to purchase I noticed a couple of employees standing around socializing with one another when I would have appreciated some assistance since I had seemed to be in need of some help but I guess since I had on the dirty work clothes maybe they assumed I was in the wrong department. A employee who was in the back area getting something for another customer came approach me and asked did I needed some help and if any one should have been doing less standing and walking it should have been her because she was pregnant,Thank You for making me feel like a valued customer. When I explained to her what I wanted and with no problem she kindly went to the back got the sandals, showed me if that's what I wanted and I made my purchase, by the way I was add that while I was waiting on lady who was helping me they did have another lady who was also in the back area walked out to me and asked did I need help or was any one helping me but I had received help already, thanks to you as well. I wish I knew they names so I could give them a direct thank you and the store I was at was Saks Fifth Avenue. I say that to say we should treat everyone the same way we want to be treated with RESPECT. One more thing before I wrap up, saks y'all have a wonderful variety of merchandise no doubt about it,my review is totally about customer...
Read moreOverall, I have had mostly positive experiences while at Canal Place. Once you get past the downtown traffic and pedestrians, shopping inside of Canal Place is a rather pleasant experience. There are a wide variety of stores to choose from. Moreover, the surprisingly wide array of high end luxury product stores provide a one stop shop for anyone looking to spend some $$$ and leave with designer brands. The attached parking garage also offers a convenient place to park amongst the packed french quarter/downtown parking scene. Additionally, your parking can be validated in store whenever you make a purchase. This is extremely convenient, as you do not have to find and trek to a dedicated validation kiosk in order to get your parking validated. The food court also never disappoints as it offers a decent variety of food options, all with a nice view of the Mississippi River. Finally, the movie theater offers a unique twist to your normal shopping center/mall. I would recommend visiting here for any shopping, movie viewing, or time...
Read moreOk, the wife says lets go to the movies. Ummm No...You can pick the movie, Hell Yeah lets go. Went to see Black Panther, and it didn't suck. However, every Marvel Comics Movie has the same dam theme They are always searching for some time of Box that can destroy the World. Kind of redundant. Anyway, the theater was awsome! Can you say comfy chairs that recline, an arm rest that can be positioned as to allow you to put the moves on the wife, albeit old moves. Better they serve beer, food, and alcoholic drinks in the theater. Only in New Orleans can you get a Scotch on the rocks in a movie theater...Dont ya just love it! This theater is the perfect date out with the wife or your significant other. No crying babies, respectful patrons, decent screen size, a waiter that brings your food and drinks to your chair, a small swivel table attached to each seat, and a buzzer to call the waiter or waitress. Awesome. BTW the price wasnt that bad at all. Its worth it...Make a...
