Terrible place and horrible experience. Will never recommend them again. We have been a few times and tried going each time we visited New Orleans. On a busy night they made my husband wait behind a group of new people coming in, after he had already waited 15 min and was next in line. Then when it was his turn after he had waited for another 10 min, they did it again. They just kept taking in the next person behind him. I was appalled and outraged that they did that to him. We had a simple quick order top that would have only taken a few seconds. This is not the only time we have been treated badly by the staff, but this is the last time. We tried supporting a local small business and it ended up Turing around and treating us like garbage. Not only is the service bad but as we were leaving there were bugs on the candy apples, so It's probably for the best. The state of the inside seems to be running down and not taken care of. We have gone about 4 times now and never again. We would rather go just a few shops down to a candy store that treats you like a person and not some trash. Do not waste your time or money on this place! It's only getting worse and needs either a new owner and workers or to be shut down! I also never write bad reviews, so please take my...
Read moreTo make a long story short, I paid $232 to have them send my wife two caarmel apples a month (part of their caramel apple of the month club). She received three months worth and then hasn't received the last two months. On my first attempt to call, I got someone at the store who cut me off before I could explain who I was and she said the store was too busy right now and hung up on me. I messaged them on Facebook and they responded quickly saying the owner would contact me, which he did, but has not contacted me again as he said he would after looking into it. I messaged them a second time and got no response. I called again and got someone by the name of Keety (sp?) who also claimed the store was busy, but took my name and number and said if Tim didn't get back to me the next day, she would. She has not either. I messaged them again and they have not responded. I don't like writing bad reviews about a business, but at this point, I feel like warning other potential customers is the only satisfaction I'm going to get. I don't know about the storefront, but I'd never order anything through the mail, and I'd highly discourage it if you're thinking about it. These people don't seem to care about you unless you step...
Read moreAll thoughts and opinions are my own.* My family and I try to seek out and support small/local business when we are able. We discovered Mister Apple yesterday when we drove past it and proceeded to walk around Canal Street to find Mister Apple after getting lost lol. If you need a reference, it's extremely close to Canal Place Mall. My family and I LOVE caramel apples; as soon as we walked in we were excited to try this business. The staff are very sweet- there was a woman and man working and it seems to be a small person team- so of course we love supporting! I couldn't believe how many chocolate covered caramel/candy apple options they had! They really keep every customer in mind for taste/preference. For the quality of the apples, they have fair prices as well; big name companies would charge $5-$10 more per apple. Once ordered, they cut your apple and seal it for you so you can take it and walk and eat or save it for later. They also have other desserts like ice cream and milk shakes if you are not wanting an apple. This is a sweet apple shop with desserts to satisfy every sweet tooth in your group; if you are in NOLA as a visitor or a resident, check out Mister Apple for amazing customer service and delicious...
