We picked up food from here to go. FYI if you order the chicken it does come with sides… we ordered too much for two. As a person who can handle some spice, the jerk chicken was a bit spicy for me. A gradual growing spicey, so for that reason I preferred the curry chicken. Both chicken where very tender/juicy and fell right off the bone. I enjoyed the beans and rice, I’m not sure if it was a bit spicy or if it was still from the chicken but it was good. I do also recommend the collard greens.

Not the best but definitely edible. I purchased the curry chicken plate. The rice and peas was kinda bland and the chicken was salty. The vegetables served with their dishes is spinach (or at least for the day I ordered, it was only spinach) I’m more used to the traditional steamed cabbage.

We just happened upon this truck after a night out and it was amazing! My husband had the jerl chicken and I had the snapper. It was so delicious.. The staff was so friendly. I highly recommend.

He is never up and running like his hours say on the website. Previously the food was good but they will no longer get my business. My family tried to eat there on 3 occasions recently. 1) we arrived at 2 pm and Johnny said the food wouldn’t be ready until 5 2) closed during operating hours on the website 3) called before going and he said that food would be ready at 4 (mind you the website said 12) and when I arrived at 430 Johnny was packing up to leave and nonchalant about not serving us. I understand that it’s only him, but he could at least update the IG page or something.

Too much time wasted with him! Thankfully I’ve found a better authentic Jamaican restaurant in NoLa with better cuisine and...

we really liked this spot. the food is solid jamaican flavors. decent portions and priced. it is not my best jamaican food in the USA but it's in the top 5. the bar has really yummy jamaican juices. i got a lychee paradise. we had to wait a while for food to be ready but it was lovely outside and he pulled out cornhole for us to play while we waited. the entire space is really nicely set up. hope they get more business during the warm season. fair amount of take out business. collectively our group got the oxtail, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and brown stew chicken. all...

This place is very unprofessional they don't answer the phone when you call. I placed an order for delivery at 12.45pm and when I called to check on it because the time of delivery had passed. Instead of the young lady telling me that there was no oxtail I had to call back three or four times to find out this information. I will never attempt to order from this place every again due to the horrible service and the run around I received. This has nothing to do with Johnny's grill this was for jerk house with the...
