The perfect record shop! Great soul selection and new finds put out frequently as well as many many singles. This place is perfect for djs, collectors, and new vinyl enthusiasts. Owner Ben takes time to connect with guests and help find items suited to their taste and offers up some grade A New Orleans music history and information. The amount of support for local music is evident throughout the shop and in the character of the employees. Store is super organized and priced fairly, be prepared to leave with a stack.

I came in with many out of print records and went out to smoke a cigarette while the bald guy working there priced them. he didn't know who most of the musicians were and did not price them separately. I needed the money buttt I should have gone elsewhere as a week later I am still feeling like I got ripped off; $50 for two Nilsson, two Elliott Smith, one Smiths, Morissey, the Shins, plus a whole lot more is not enough. his nonchalant attitude was also pretty demoralizing. hopefully Mushroom treats...

Let's place was pretty cool. I found a live Fleetwood Mac album that is usually pretty hard to find they have some pins that you can buy I bought a Stevie Nicks one I do think the pins were a little bit overpriced but I really wanted it. Interesting the art on the wall is interesting. I do think they could have a better variety and it would have been nice if the guy behind the counter would have even greeted us but other than that it was a nice store and it was a good place to go to while...
