This place is awesome. On Saturday, Dec. 5, I wanted to purchase a 10 oz. rib eye to cook at home and the chef picked one out with lovely marbling. Let me just say that was the best piece of meat I have purchased in ages. It was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. I just cooked it in a pan with butter, some thyme leaves, and garlic cloves. Definitely will be purchasing a steak on each of my future visits along with some ground beef. We also dined in - ate smash burgers and fries. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We have brought home food from the Market section before such as the pork debris shepard's type pie (OMG!!), chocolate chip cookies (yum), rotisserie chicken, gumbo, and more. Everything has been superb. Also the bake macaroni is delicious along with the Cuban sandwich, and the special sliders of the day (my fave - fried chicken slider). Thanks to everyone there - food is top notch, service is nice, and the area is safe, clean, & pleasant to dine in or pick up. Please consider making same cookie as the chocolate chip minus the chocolate - I am allergic to chocolate but find little pieces of the cookie I can taste and...

Best shrimp remoulade Iāve ever had. Service was excellent and the lady who showed me around was very friendly. Iām so happy to have found this eatery/bar/market tucked between Tchoupitoulas and Magazine on Orange St right by St Michaelās School. The interior is lovely and there is a patio too. The fresh meats looked so good. Check out the weekly specials and pick up dinner and wine on your way home. This place fills lots of needs.
Just coming back here to say do not think twice about buying a roll of cookie dough from the fridge if you find it. Cut half inch slices and bake for about 10 minutes. They are divine! So glad my son grabbed it and convinced...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered a cobb salad and this is what I got. SOOO much lettuce, 4 crumbles of blue cheese and 8 bacon bits. It also comes with creole pecans, which is unusual yet interesting, but they put SOOO many compared to the other toppings. So basically what a got was a nut salad, with a dash of blue cheese and bacon. AND NO EGG. For $20, iām extremely disappointed.
Edit: After i got over my initial disappointment about the portions - i sat down to eat, and I will say it was delicious. the dressing is really what makes it good. but i still believe they need to reevaluate the set up of the salad. also the bacon bits were hard as rocks and hurt my teeth, so i took all 8...
