I’ve been going to Savage beauty for years. I’ve gotten haircuts from both Jo and Michelle, and I love them both. Jo has walked me through various hair styles, from short to long, and always kept me looking good! I add some color now and then, they worked with me to add red to my hair that was the perfect balance of fun but not too out-there, and something that slowly fades with time, so no roots to deal with. The prices are very fair. Also, if you like sitting quietly while getting your hair cut, they make that very chill and comfortable. But, they are both the nicest people To talk to. If I could give Jo 1,000,000 stars, I would. Since 2009 she has been the sole designer of my hair. The years before were bleak in comparison, as was my hair. Any new color I want, she not only creates it, she does it AND still maintains the health of my long hair. She has taken me from blonde to brunette to red and back to blonde again, all the while keeping my head looking great, and healthy. There is no one better in New Orleans, perhaps anywhere. Savage has been my family's stylists for many years. My teen son has explored his personal style with Michelle with great cuts - she is so good about talking through what he's thinking and they've always arrived at a cut that boosts his confidence and reflects his individuality.
