I went to this restaurant for lunch , party of three. We thought the decor was amazing. Though the Host was not welcoming at all. On top of that our server was Rude and obnoxious ( RXXXXXK ) . I know we all have bad days at work but this was ridiculous. when we received our order . One of my guest in my party ordered a shrimp po-boy and received it on an extremely hard roll. When made aware to host because server was no where to be found. and later to the server they both said they would speak to manager. The host motion to manager to come over which she look at host and ignored. There was one other table seated in entire restaurant.

When bill came I signed C.C processed receipt and gave it to server and stated manager didn't come and address issue with food . Bill could have reflected it.

The server started to say aloud in front of kitchen staff and in ear shout of other customers " These people are crazy , Trying to get something for free". I motioned for her to come back to table stated I don't want anything for free . I gave you a signed copy of the C.C receipt . I wanted to talk to manager because you told me you would let her know what was going on. She didn't come to table . Can you ask her to come.

She continue to be rude to my Guest and stated again to me " yes I did say you were Crazy". I was shocked by the actions of this server who represents this restaurant. She wanted to argue at me (in a loud , rude and obnoxious tone ) about what happen and I continue to ask to speak with manager.

When manager finally came to table she stated "she just became aware of the issue ". When asked for servers name she stated "she just came in at 1 and was busy doing orders didn't know who the server was and had to look on her phone for the name" (????).

This caused me to look at yelp reviews and see that the reviews for this location is rather poor. And due to my experience I can see why. Please be aware of where you go . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE .

The Short Ribs I ordered was very tasty. The Steak my sister in law ordered was also good . The Po-Boy brother ordered bread was hard.

Just wanted to point it out to manager. The problem was minor with food . That’s why we didn’t send it back or ask for a replacement . The real problem was unprofessional attitude , rudeness , embarrassment and argumentative behavior of the server. That’s the only reason this...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. July 24th about 2:00p My family and I have stayed at this hotel for years, and we’ve always dined at this restaurant because the service and food were consistently excellent. Unfortunately, that standard has completely gone out the window.

We waited at the host stand for over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. The only reason I didn’t complain right then was because the waitress who finally seated us was kind and professional.

I ordered a well-done burger. Simple enough, right? When it came out, I added my condiments and cut into it—it was still pink inside. Mistakes happen, so I politely let the manager know. He took the burger back without issue. But two minutes later, he returned with the exact same burger, now soggy, sloppy, and cold. It looked like they had tossed it in the microwave, condiments and all. The cheese was melted into a mess, and the plate was full of watery runoff. Not only was it unappetizing, it was completely unacceptable. The fries were the same ones too—now cold and limp.

When I asked the manager why he’d bring back the same burger instead of remaking it, he responded rudely and condescendingly: “That’s how we do it here.” He then proceeded to argue with me, loudly, in front of other guests—insisting their policy is not to remake food, even when it’s their kitchen’s mistake. I told him I’ve been coming here for years, and that’s never been the case. His response was arrogant, dismissive, and downright unprofessional.

I left feeling disgusted and disrespected. The way I was treated was embarrassing and completely out of line. I can’t help but feel that I was singled out, and I honestly don’t believe he would’ve treated someone else the same way.

I will not be returning, and I don’t recommend anyone else waste their time or money here. This place has gone downhill, and...

Stopped in around 5 on a damp Friday for early bite/drink. Large room, almost completely empty, yet I was told I would need to wait 15 minutes for a table on the periphery to be made ready. Once seated, the server came right over, took my drink order. I asked her about the pork nachos since I had had a craving earlier in the week - and a picture of them on a previous google review looked pretty tasty - she assured me they were good, so I ordered. The bowl of nachos I received looked nothing like the review! In front of me was a hot soup bowl (don’t touch!) piled high with dry tortilla chips (where was the cheese???), shiny dark beans (they tasted fine), COLD cubes of unseasoned pressed “pork”, smothered with pico (which was fine). I picked through the pile eating the beans & pico & the couple of stray strands of shredded cheese I discovered, (the “pork” was awful), but left most uneaten. I asked the server if this “restaurant” was really just a hotel dining room - this “dish” was very much like the quick heat-and-serve food offerings at Courtyard Marriotts I’ve stayed at traveling across the country - (something/anything to eat after a long day of driving). But this day I wasn’t traveling, I live in New Orleans, looking to try a new place, discover more good food to recommend to visitors - duped into thinking this was a real restaurant. My bad. The server offered to relay my comments to the manager. But no manager came to check in with me. I guess it just doesn’t matter to them. They will always have tired/hungry hotel guests. And next time I think I want nachos, I’ll...

Located in a great area in the CBD, this location is perfect for foot traffic & to drive in as well. This particular day, we stopped in because our original destination was closed, bah-humbug. So we happened upon this restaurant and proceed in our dining efforts. Upon entry we saw all the regular COVID notifications & postings... ok!!! The place was basically empty, so we had the run of the place. We were quickly seated, but opted to relocate to a different are of the restaurant, no one wants to sit near the bathroom. Smh. Once seated, our server was very pleasant & gave recommendations as asked. Food & drinks were ordered, we were enjoying the ambiance & one another's company. Food was presented & it wasn't as expected. We ordered: oysters, chicken & waffles, veggie club sandwich, wings & fries. Tips of the wings were burned, the chicken & waffle entree was not easily managed ie not easy to cut for eating and the fries were MIA & a few of the oysters were shriveled up & charred. It is to be noted, all the food problems were brought to the attention of the server & the folks in the kitchen were apt to "make it right", but for me it was quite surprising that this even happened as the restaurant was pretty empty. I was encouraged that a gentleman from the kitchen ACTUALLY came from the kitchen to address our woes. The rest of the food was ok & the night was stellar because of the company. Should I choose to return, I'd hope for a better food experience. Street parking is the call for the day. Pricing was fair. #diningduringCOVID #maskmandate #eatingintheNOLA #COVIDmandates

To be honest, we came here because we forgot to make reservations somewhere, there were multiple conventions in town so nearly every restaurant was booked. Being a bit off the tourist routes, this place had room for us. Are we ever glad we made the decision to eat here! Very nice atmosphere, which seems more upscale than the restaurant is...a nice change from so many restaurants that serve traditional fare at Michelin prices. The staff was pleasant and knew all about the menu on the items, and they didn't mind that we all needed separate cheques. We started with an dip that was incredible. Warm, cheesy, and crispy chips. There were four of us, but the serving was enough that we didn't finish it. I had a traditional club, and it was just that, thank goodness. I don't like something branded a "club" that is really just a sandwich . This was a traditional club, and it was delicious. I also asked for my fries to be crispy, and they WERE! I often have to ask to send the fries back to make them crispy. Legacy got them right the first time! You will not be disappointed.
