So after going to a coffee shop with no coffee, I decided to give this location a try. Unfortunately the coffee machine was down. However the kind hostes offered a drip coffee. I told her I never had it before and asked if it would taste the same? She said it would. I asked if they had decaffeinated coffee. She said yes. I asked if I could get the Latee art or a symbol with the milk. She said yes. The last thing I asked for was if they had a vanilla shot available. She said yes. Watching the coffee slow drip was interesting. Meanwhile there was a short man in the back cusing at the broken machine. I shrugged it off as I would be mad too if my top earner was down. I was looking foward to the art. When the hostess brought it to me without any art I asked if they could add it. The same man who was in the back yelling proceeded to cuss at me and said he did not have time for that. I told him that's what I asked for when I paid for the coffee. He proceeded to cuss and muttered something. The hostesses cut him off and offered to get me a refund. Then he began to storm back to take his anger out on the machine. I feel bad for her having to put up with a coworker like that. He is clearly not a professional who cares about the business image.

I am a coffee enthusiast so I will come from a few different perspectives. To begin, the coffee is a 3 out of 5. Milk was a little burned / over frothed for my latte but for a quick grab and go cup of Joe, it sufficed. For the atmosphere, it was very nice. I like minimal and this shop delivers with the concrete and earth textures; it's not too much and not too little. For customer service, I am torn. For my particular situation, I found it to be a little slow; not because there was only one barista but when you are the only one in the shop, be aware that some customers will sit and converse with you, and some like myself, will need to grab and go to make it to the airport or to work. we were waiting at the register for 10 minutes watching the staff converse with a patron. Again, I am okay with it because I prepared for this and still made my flight but I appreciate when staff can multi-task effectively.

i’m from NYC and have heard non-stop how “people are nicer in the South.” welp, i just had that proved to me so emphatically that i had to post a review immediately. i don’t do google review often, but these guys were so sweet and patient. i asked a thousand questions about all the coffee and even though a lot of the ones i was asking about had just come in, they seemed to know everything. i got their names—Ghiselli was so sweet and made me laugh before i’d had caffeine (remarkable) while Kyle was super-helpful and friendly. and they were both so polite! they took the time to ask me questions about myself and my trip, they recommended places for me to visit...do i really have to go back to the stuck-up, hipster baristas in Brooklyn?? thanks again, guys.

The staff was rather quick with my friend. She asked about seasonal flavors and the barista, without looking up or acknowledging her, slowly pointed at the sign on the counter. It’s understandable that they probably get that question all the time so she dismissed that interaction. Then, when the drinks were ready, they handed them to my friend and in a snarky tone said “For the Texans”. A completely unnecessary comment that made her feel unwelcome at this particular location. She has a small Texas necklace on. Ironically she’s not even from Texas. I don’t know if they were having a bad day but it was rude and upsetting. We have been to multiple local coffee shops on our roadtrip to visit fellow coworkers, and have amazing experiences and hoped to have a similar one here. Hopefully, it was a...
