I HATED my dining experience. This restaurant does not value their customers, so dine in at your own risk!!!!!! On a joyous occasion 16 family members gathered to celebrate my cousins birthday. My daughter was not satisfied with her meal, the dish was horrible. The manager Amy Ny refused to accommodate her by replacing her meal or offering a refund. Keep in mind it was a meal under the Noodles selection and it was under $10.00. My daughter wanted to get something under the Hibachi menu which was much more money. I ended up paying for her Hibachi meal which was not a problem, but the manager refused to take of the $10 meal which we left at the restaurant. I would rate the Hibachi dinner I received as average. Everyone at my table received cold soup, however they did replace the soup. I am rather easy going and for me to get upset, speaks volumes. This was my worst dining experience and I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT and I have encouraged everyone I know to avoid Miyako's Sushi Bar & Hibachi on St. Charles !!!!!!!

REMEMBER MOST DISSATISFIED PATRONS DON'T BOTHER TO POST COMPLAINTS, THEY JUST NEVER RETURN TO THE...

We had reservations for a birthday party. When we arrived, we waited for about 15 mins, in the lobby, and my sister in law had to ask them if we could be seated. The air conditioner does not work. It was SO HOT inside (83° to be exact - see picture), even with the little floor fans blowing. We couldn't enjoy our food bc of the heat. Hibachi fire + broken ac makes for a sweaty night. When the server came to take drinks, he only took half the rooms order and told the other half their server would be there in just a min. Other side got drinks AND their server came back to take the order. I had to ask for the other server to come in and take the other side of the rooms drink order, etc. And when we needed something, we had to walk out of the room to get the attention of someone bc they were too busy on their phones or talking to each other. The hibachi chefs were FANTASTIC!!! Definitely the highlight of the night! The food was great, too.

Moral of the story: we will not be returning. The amount of money we just spent to sit and be miserably hot was definitely...

Horrible experience. Parking lot dirty and trash everywhere reflects attitude and service inside. The restaurant had 4 people in it with 2 sushi chefs, but it was 10 minutes before a waitress came over to take drink orders. After ordering a sashimi appetizer and small salad we waited 25 minutes to be served. We were about to get up and leave and I told the waitress at my disappointment of waiting so long for a simple meal with hardly anyone and she barely apologized and kept laughing. I did not find this humourous. The two people sitting near us got up to leave and told us they were going to another sushi restaurant closeby. I told the waitress this but she just kept snickering. As we left I noticed there were 2 girls sitting at the hostess area just chatting....obviously no one there because of the bad service. And by the way, the sushi wasnt very fresh. Dont even want to give it it 1 star but this site requires it in...

Decided to go here today for lunch— my first ever time visiting this location. The place is a little dirty.. just needs a deep clean. From the moment I walked in, I noticed that. Just seems really grimy when you first walk in. Sat down and was offered the usual— drinks, salad + soup. The chef was cool, definitely kept us entertained; however, the food was just okay + portion size was off compared to other Hibachi restaurants I’ve been to. Oh yeah, they charge for yum yum sauce.. liiiiike what?? They keep it in small plastic compartments that they hand out if you decide to purchase. Never have I ever had to pay for the sauce. It’s usually in a big container and you pour as much as you want or they’ll give you nice amount for your food. I do understand though, it can get expensive if it goes to waste. Overall three out of five.

Usually they have amazing food. But I was very disappointed in my to go order today. Very little chicken that wasn’t seasoned at all, and the noodles just had soy sauce on them. We didn’t get veggies bc we wanted double noodles, but they don’t do substitutions. But of course they didn’t tell us that till we got our order and we had no veggies. I would have ate the veggies if I wasn’t gettin extra noodles. Not happy with this.
