One-stop shop for all your salon needs! I loooovvvee Petal Salon. It is the best salon I've been to in New Orleans. It's easy to find, lots of street parking, SUPER CLEAN, appealing decor, well branded, and that's just the business and building. I get everything done here: nails, toenails, hair extensions, eye lashes, eyebrows, and facials. There's more I could get--I just haven't worked them into my routine.

Nita is my nail tech and originally how I came to Petal Salon. I have had a lot of nail artists but none I could say were the best--Nita tops them all and then some. She is a MASTER of acrylics and pedicures. Her nails last FOREVER (seriously, my nails always pop off starting in week 3 when I went previous places and aside from me breaking a nail here and there, my fills are solid. Nita's painting skills are top notch, she rarely even has to wipe--even on my itty bitty toes. If you want nail perfection, Nita is a must see.

Jodi does my brows, lashes, and facials. I get tinted, shaped brows, light volume lashes, and the occasional facial treatment. Jodi is really good at what she does. I had a lot of questions as I was new to having lashes done and Jodi answered all my questions (without laughing at me) and helped me figure out what I wanted when I didn't really know. Then I had more questions when it came to the different facial treatments. Jodi has the patience of a Saint because I am a "but I have questions" client. She makes sure you're comfortable during each treatment, talks you through each thing she is doing, and doesn't mind if you fall asleep (you probably will!).

Alaina does my scalp facials and my hair extensions. Listen to your hairdresser, y'all. Especially if you see Alaina--she knows what she's talking about and following her instructions has kept my sew-in extensions in top notch condition. As with any extension service, it's pricey but only on the upstart. Maintenance follow ups are more reasonable that I would have guessed--they are down right affordable.

It would not be right to write a review without mentioning the Queen of Petal Salon, Amanda. Amanda is the owner and fully present (works the desk, has her own clients, and participates in day to day) in her space. She knows her clients and her employees' clients. I am ALWAYS greeted by name, even when Amanda is with her own client. Amanda constantly improves the space, services, adds staff as needed, and the affection with which her staff speaks to her and of her is all I need to know that Amanda is headed towards boss woman of the year.

EVERY single time I’ve been to this salon, I’ve always felt super welcomed & gotten the queen treatment for sure. Everyone is always all smiles, super friendly, sweet and accommodating. The atmosphere is super bright as well so if you’re having a bad day & walk inside, you’ll definitely be in better spirits and I love that. Thats why I’ve continued to come back because the customer service is unmatched. I’ve never been anywhere w/this level of service. BUT I have to say every single time I’ve been, I’ve had an issue. First time, my nails started to look really bad after only two days. Second, I couldn’t get my nails how I wanted them because the tech said she didn’t have time & all I wanted was a French tip. Third, my nails were really discolored and odd looking after only ONE day. Fourth, I set a morning appointment and I got a text from the stylist saying my appointment had to be changed to an evening appointment because of scheduling issues. I’m so sad to not be able to give this salon 5 stars because all the service providers I’ve encountered are truly the sweetest service providers I’ve ever worked with but I just can’t look pass...

I’ve been going to Nita at Petals Salon for almost five years, and she is truly the best in the business! Her dip manicures are consistently flawless—smooth, natural-looking, and long-lasting. She takes such care with shaping and application, and always helps me choose the perfect color or design, whether I want something fun and bold or classic and clean.
