Super poor experience trying to get delivery to our hotel. Ordered our food through the restaurants website via Eat365. I was sent a text confirming my order was placed and provided with a confirmation number and receipt number, also selecting ASAP delivery. Order was aubmitted at 9:15 PM, I called at 9:50 PM asking if our food was on the way as I hadn’t been called yet, when the lady answered she seemed uninterested and simply said “the driver is on the way ma’am”. So at that time I went down to the hotel lobby to wait for the delivery and at 10:10 PM I called again inquiring about our order. This time the lady on the phone told me she never got our order and didn’t know what I was talking about. I told her that I had a confirmation number, receipt number and I even called 15 minutes ago asking where our food was. I was told that somehow they never got our order and “must’ve mistaken it with someone else’s delivery”. Trying a new place while traveling, a 5 star restaurant, didn’t impress and would not recommend to anyone who asks where we ate while traveling. Update: The food was also subpar. Ordered chicken fried rice which was very bland and the chicken seemed to be frozen and then cubed up for the rice, definitely not cooked in for flavor. Edemame was good, but the only thing you do to prepare that is steam so there really couldn’t have been an issue with that. Ordered California Roll, imitation crab meet and bland flavor; ordered Tuna Avocado Roll, again frozen tuna and bland flavor. Overall for $40 the food was comparable to a low rated Chinese buffet quality. Spend your...
Read moreVisiting from out of state!! We sat at the bar and spoke with a bunch of locals (mostly because I was trying to win the game we played with the staff) Atmosphere: We actually weren’t planning on going there but somewhere else. We just so happen to be walking by and the store manager came out and spoke to us and we just decided to come in and get a drink. A drink and conversation turned to food, fun, and even more good conversation. Food: We had 3 sushi rolls, fried rice, and fried cheesecake. EVERYTHING was delicious!! Seasoned well but not overly seasoned. The rolls were unique and flavorful. Combination rice could’ve had more then 2 shrimp but we were still happy and didn’t honestly miss them (just being greedy lol). Also the guy next to us had Ramen and raved over it!! He said the broth and combinations make the possibilities endless. Cocktails: I’ve been in NOLA for 3 days and this is the first place I was satisfied with the cocktails, price, flavor, and quality. We had two rounds and one to go (total 3)… MARTINI is great!! 😉 Service: Amazing!!! Store manager, server, everybody was super welcoming. Store manager played a game with us… super fun!! We won!!! They also gave us some suggestion since we...
Read moreWORST Sushi I ever had and my family and I are not picking eaters we like and eat a lot of different types of food. I live in CA so maybe this is good Sushi for those who live her in NOLA. I wrote special instructions on the DoorDash order asking to make sure I received wasabi and that was missing from the order. I even called the restaurant to ask if wasabi and soy sauce came with the order and she said yes they always include those items in every order. YEAH RIGHT!! I also asked if 1 order of rice was enough for 5 ppl she said NO so I order 2 orders which was WAY TOO much for 5 ppl 1 order would had been plenty I truly believe she told me that just so I would order more to spend more money. The 5 of us took maybe 2 to 3 fork full of food then threw all the food including the cold unfavorable sushi in the trash. Next time I visit Nola I will not order food from this place I just learned and EXPENSIVE lesson!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! If I could give them a BIG FAT ZERO I would. All ya'll who gave this place a high rating I highly suggest you visit Cali, NY or Chicago for some real...
