I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your establishment during my recent visit. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to the unprofessional behavior of the shift manager, Mike.
Mike’s conduct during my visit was both incompetent and rude. He displayed a clear lack of social skills and seemed entirely disengaged from providing quality customer service. It was evident that he was not interested in ensuring a smooth transaction, as he made several mistakes while handling my order. To my dismay, instead of taking responsibility for his errors, he attempted to shift the blame onto the cashier, Jamesha, who, in contrast, was extremely sweet and understanding. Jamesha handled the situation with empathy and grace, making the experience somewhat bearable despite Mike's behavior.
Specifically, I ordered a sub with mac and cheese, but was served fries instead. When I pointed out the mistake, Mike tried to blame Jamesha for it, even though it was clear that the error was his. This lack of accountability and professionalism was very disappointing.
Furthermore, I was deeply concerned to observe Mike handling food while simultaneously using his cellphone. This not only demonstrates poor hygiene practices but also poses a serious risk of cross-contamination, creating unsanitary conditions for your customers. Such behavior is unacceptable and left a very bad impression on me.
I hope you will address these issues with Mike and take appropriate measures to ensure that your customers receive the high-quality service they expect. I believe that with the right guidance, he could potentially improve, but as of now, his actions are severely impacting the reputation of your establishment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing about the steps you will take to rectify...
Read moreMy 1st visit to New Orleans, and this was the very first restaurant I ate at. I ultimately went here because popeye's employees were extremely rude to the customers ahead of me and I didn't want to deal with that negative energy. I walked a few doors down and this was the next restaurant to see on Canal Street. The brother who took my order was cool and down to earth (😎) as in everyday people ✌🏾. I ordered a two piece fried chicken combo, and a 2 piece fish combo. The fried chicken was breaded good, and wasn't dry at all. It had a very good cook on it and not overcooked. The only issue for me was it was entirely too spicy. So if you like a hearty spicy kick to your chicken, then I recommend them. The waffle fries were not very good at all, but they came with the combo. The waffle fries were cooked good which made them look appealing to the eye, however while eating them some were very hard and had almost a freezer burnt taste 🤷🏾♂️. Now let's talk about this fish..... The fish looks very good to the eye 👁, nice and brown with a good batter. However, that seasoning was overly salty 🧂 😳 😒. Hey it could have just been the batter for that moment, but if it wasn't overly salty I would have loved eating that fish. Some folks love a heavy salty seasoning and if you do, then you'll enjoy the fish. The music vibe is pretty good. It's good commercial music, the windows are open and you can watch as the folks pass by in the street. This is all jmo, you might go & experience...
Read moreSo this was an interesting one, because the graphics drew us in, but locals told us it was mediocre. There wasn't much else open at that time of night, so we decided to give it a try. The people that told us not to go must be biased towards someone else locally, because we both thought it was delicious! The cook made our chicken fresh after we ordered it, with marinated meat going into breading then into the fryer--no prebattered frozen chicken here! The Voodoo Sauce was tasty, and so was the Hot Honey, but it definitely had some heat to it. Hot fresh waffle fries right out of the oil too. I can't guarantee it's like this all hours of the day, but sure made our meal outstanding. The price might seem a little high, but the chicken tenders were HUGE! The two of us shared a 5 piece and it was more than enough. What I liked most about the chicken was that it had its own signature flavor and style; they aren't trying to duplicate Willie Mae's here or anyone else for that matter. There are several chickens houses in New Orleans, and they all have their own identity by flavor and style, which I love.
The only downside was that the honey biscuits were not available during the last few days of Mardi Gras. We still paid the same amount without any substitution or discount offered for the missing item. It sure looked tasty on the menu...
