New Orleans is my favorite city in the US, Iโ€™ve visited 12 times! From family trips to baecations to friend getaways thereโ€™s something for everyone! Most know about big events that take place in NOLA like Mardi Gras & Essence Fest but New Orleans is always a good idea! Take advantage of long weekends, mild winter temps & numerous direct flights to book your trip early in the new year. Here are activity ideas for your visit: ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Take a cooking class so you can recreate some of the amazing meals youโ€™ll have on your trip. Iโ€™ve taken classes at the Southern Food & Beverage Museum & The Mardis Gras School of Cooking. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธTry beignets at Cafe du Monde, Cafe Beignet, & Lorettaโ€™s ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Have a Po-Boy at the popular Parkway but really there are many places to try one! ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Take a food tour to try a variety of places ๐—”๐—ฟ๐˜ & ๐—–๐˜‚๐—น๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐ŸŽญ Visit the Backstreet Cultural Museum to learn the history of Mardi Gras Indian culture ๐ŸŽญ Explore Vue Orleans, an interactive exhibit that dives into the history, music and culture of NOLA. ๐ŸŽญ Visit the Southern Food & Beverage Museum to learn about the food and drink culture in the South. ๐ŸŽญ Attend the Congo Square Rhythms Festival in March to see African dance troupes & local brass bands celebrate the history of Congo Square in Louis Armstrong Park.ย  ๐ŸŽญ Visit the Ogden Museum of Southern Art for the art or attend childrenโ€™s events & workshops ๐— ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐ŸŽท Visit the New Orleans Jazz Museum for exhibits like Drumsville: Evolution of the New Orleans Beat ๐ŸŽท Listen to live Jazz at Preservation Hall ๐ŸŽท Attend one of the many music festivals like the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bayou Boogaloo, & French Quarter Festival. ๐—”๐—ฑ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐ŸŽข Zip-lining over alligators at Cajun Encounters ๐ŸŽข Go on an airboat ride in the swamp ๐ŸŽข Rent bikes or swan boats at CityPark ๐ŸŽข Go on a ghost tour ๐ŸŽข Drive a Ferrari, doing laps around the track NOLA Motorsports Park ๐—•๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜† โœŠ๐Ÿพ Visit Whitney Plantation โœŠ๐Ÿพ Explore the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum โœŠ๐Ÿพ Admire Black art at Studio BE โœŠ๐Ÿพ Retrace the steps of history at McDonogh 19 Elementary School Have you been to @visitneworleans?

This place has a lot of potential! It isnt located in tge most desirable high traffic area, so one has to come closet towards highway I-10. Drinks are ok, nothing to impressive, but the view and atmosphere is what makes up for it all. They could really use more friendly, welcoming staff, that are actually happy they showed up to do what they do at such uniqie vanue. Outdoor furniture is nicely designed and well placed for when the place gets busy, so people can freely move about. Restrooms were clean and nicely done. Would definitely come back here when I'm in town next, to see what has changed.

Such an amazing experience. I couldn't have enjoyed Vue Orleans more! This is an interactive history exhibit/observatory where you can learn about the great history of New Orleans while enjoying the best views in the city! The staff and management have done a great job. Very friendly and accommodating to make it the best experience possible for each customer. You can move through the exhibit in 30 minutes or really soak it in for 90 minutes! If you're in New Orleans and looking for a fun experience, I recommend you pay Vue...
