āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Unique local experience with superior customer service and genuine passion for what they do!

In March of 2021 we booked a cajun encounters tour and were lucky enough to be assigned Luca as our tour guide.

It was the best tour we had ever been on. He is extremely knowledgeable about the fauna and flora as well as history and heritage of the entire area. I won’t go into detail about this one but will say it is WELL WORTH the trip outside the city!

Fast forward about 2 and a half years and we are back in New Orleans with family members who did not get to experience the swamp tour; so my husband called to see if we could get Luka again. Unfortunately, he was no longer doing swamp tours, but the person on the phone was kind enough to tell us that Luca is now full time at 73 Distillery (their sister business).

I contacted the distillery and found out Luca had a busy day but if he was there when we are visiting they would be sure we get a chance to say ā€˜Hi’. I thought that was nice and hoped my husband would be happy with that.

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. There were six in our group, some drinkers and others not so much. Brian was our guide for the tasting and tour. He was knowledgeable, funny, and made the tour enjoyable for all of us. At this point I would have already recommended this to anyone.

But wait there’s more! Luca met our group at the end of the tour and gave us an extended version. Sharing even more fascinating information, introduced us to Jeff, one of the founders as well as Chris an assistant distillers. We had a phenomenal time and learned a lot.

I want to say THANK YOU so much from myself and family. Luca, you did not have to go above and beyond like you did but oh how we appreciated it! It just demonstrates what an amazing person you are and it is obvious that you have a fantastic team as well!

If you can schedule a tour with the head...

If you're looking for a unique and memorable experience in New Orleans, Seven Three Distillery is an absolute must-visit. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Southern hospitality and a vibe that perfectly captures the spirit of the city.

Our host, Richard, was the star of the show. His passion for distilling and his deep knowledge of the craft made the tour not only informative but also incredibly entertaining. He walked us through the entire process of how their small-batch spirits are made, from grain to bottle, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Richard’s storytelling added a personal touch, making the history of the distillery and its connection to New Orleans come alive.

The tasting session was a highlight. Richard guided us through their selection of spirits, including their signature vodka, gin, and rum. Each drink was smooth, flavorful, and expertly crafted. It was clear that Seven Three Distillery takes pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of their products.

What really stood out was Richard’s ability to make everyone feel welcome. He answered all our questions with patience and humor, and his recommendations for cocktails and local spots in NOLA were spot-on.

Overall, Seven Three Distillery offers a fantastic experience for both spirits enthusiasts and casual visitors. Thanks to Richard, our visit was educational, fun, and thoroughly enjoyable. If you’re in New Orleans, don’t miss this gem—it’s a true reflection of the city’s vibrant culture and craftsmanship.

Five-Star Distillery Tour Experience!

I had the pleasure of taking a distillery tour recently, and I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had in a long time! What truly set it apart was our incredible tour guide, Ashley – a comedian by trade, and an absolute gem in this setting.

From the moment the tour began, Ashley had the whole group laughing and fully engaged. She managed to strike the perfect balance between humor and information, making the science and history of distilling feel fun and accessible. You could tell she was not only passionate about the craft but also genuinely loved sharing that passion with others – and making us laugh while doing it.

The tour itself was fascinating, offering a behind-the-scenes look at every step of the process, from grain to glass. The distillery was spotless and beautifully set up, and the samples we got to try were top-notch – smooth, flavorful, and expertly crafted.

But again, what really made the tour unforgettable was Ashley. Her quick wit, charm, and deep knowledge turned what could have been a standard tour into a truly unique and entertaining experience. I walked away with a new appreciation for spirits, a smile on my face, and a few great jokes in my back pocket.

Highly recommend this tour to anyone – whether you're a seasoned whiskey lover or just looking for a fun and educational afternoon. And if you're lucky enough to get Ashley as your guide, you're in...

The tour is informational & enlightening. I might’ve should’ve taken the tour BEFORE I started tasting the product & then I’d be able to remember if the 73 was significant for the number of neighborhoods/areas in New Orleans or the number of cities in Louisiana orrrrrrrrrrrr what the 73 was for, ehhhhhh. The decor is nice and I even saw a t-shirt I have plans to purchase when they got more sizes, SCHmedium please... The resident dog is a people friendly mixed breed, looks like some sort of Alaskan shepherd collie breed, heck idk, Suki was very friendly & open to hugs & rubs. I found the pricing to be fair; $6 happy hour cocktails, I’m with it. I love that connection with all things New Orleans; the drinks all have names of local areas i.e. Gentilly, St Roch, yeah they had me there. I love to see pride in the area. For now there’s Gin & Vodka; but soon there will be MOONSHINE, yesssssssssssss!!!!! Demetrius, our tour guide was friendly, very knowledgeable & very accommodating. He set us us with ā€œTHE FLIGHTā€, which was a generous shot of ALL 3 products... very nice!!!!!! While there are food trucks that may show up from time to time; I’d like to see them have a few things to nosh on while you’re getting your drink on; the food truck thingy is cool, but I’d prefer to keep the PARTYING @ THE PARTY. Parking is scarce, so get there early!!!

My boyfriend and I had the best time at seven three distillery!! We were visiting New Orleans from out of town and heard about it through a friend. Right when you walk in, there’s a big shop with all sorts of merch (shirts, hats, shot glasses, etc) and the designs are all awesome! Once you turn left, you enter the bar area. The bar area is clean, organized, and gives off great vibes. Lots of room, and all the people there were super nice. We also went on a tour of the distillery and it was so cool to see how everything was made!! We tried the bourbon & vodka and they were both amazing, so smooth! And we also got some cocktails afterward which were also great. The bartenders were lovely. Special shout out to Kristen who took great care of us and made sure we had a great time!! We have told all our friends that this place is a must-visit when in New Orleans. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in town. In the meantime, we loved the bourbon so much we got a bottle to bring home with us!
