Wendy's — Restaurant in New Orleans

05192024 Here's the good-- Place is very clean inside. Plenty of parking. Says it has wifi. Plenty of places to sit. It was open. Probably not busier, because there are no cars here... or the food sucks. Look at that white biscuit. Stop cooking wedges in advance and why so much salt. That coffee cup is escaping steam or is it leaking? Food was okay priced. Server/Manager not friendly. Not welcoming. I was the only one in there when I arrived. Mayne she was tired. And considering there weren't many people back there as in there was only 1 other person, she just may have been tired. If you're not paying $22/hour and giving 40 hours with a consistent schedule, you're not going to find quality staff. You can't live in New Orleans on $10 or 15 or 20 an hour with 20 hours a week. Cut your food costs by reducing condiment distribution. Parking lot had a trashcan with trash all around it. Maybe squirrel or rats. Otherwise the Parking lot was clean. A few flies were around too. I'm giving them 5 stars for the simple fact that I placed an order through Door dash food app and Door Dash took my $17.94 off my card for two orders..didn't give the female Dash employee her discount of $6.00 and what I received and was old food that wasn't my order so I called the manager at Wendy's told her my situation and then shortly after took my proof from my phone and the bag that was given to me . She then immediately had her staff make me fresh fries and my two meal orders and gave mr nuggets for my trouble. I am very satisfied with how the manager and staff was quick and polite to me and got me what I needed . I will be returning to this location after 5pm to get the orders I pay for . So I hope if others order from Door Dash they know what happens if they order from any other places or Wendy's . The employees are very nice. I go to the Wendy's on Claiborne to meet up with a friend at least once a month. I do prefer the quiet atmosphere at the Carrollton one, though. I've also had very good experiences with the one on St. Charles both a few years ago and quite recently with my brother to have some of Wendy's delicious coffee. Having said all this, though, and having just read everyone's reviews and having had a more recent experience, I can empathize with the person who got a soft drink blend and not what he really ordered. That happened to me last week resulting in throwing the drink away. But the worst! The worst Taco Bells (I haven't found the worst Wendy's) are in Merritt Island, Florida and DeRidder, Louisiana.
