Sullivan's Boulevard Lounge — Restaurant in New Port Richey

So me and some friends went for Halloween and let me start by saying having only 2 bartenders on one of the busiest nights was very poor decision on the owner especially when it’s so hard to even get to a bar and order a drink and after tonight I see why that poor decision was made so my friend found a spot to order a drink and a lady tells him he needs to move her husband sitting there he explains to her I’m not sitting here I’m just grabbing a beer so she decides to tell him he needs to move now and calls him a asshole mind you whats more mind blowing is the so called owner was sitting right there must have been his buddies so the lady husband shows up and of course the wife decides to tell her husband my friend was being a asshole to her instead of understanding he was just grabbing a beer the bar is packed so the husband starts wanting to be a tough guy start talking crap so me being a bartender and managing bars for over 15 years trying to defuse the situation the so called owner walks up to my other friend talking about don’t do it and start touching my friend getting in his face when he was just trying to take his costume off his head so we can leave cuz he couldn’t breathe and had no idea what even happened while the owner friend the rude lady husband is talking crap to my friend who is literally standing there waiting for his card not saying a word the owner is still in my other friend face not saying one word to his friend who is a this point threatening my friend I’m telling the owner relax and he is still going so finally I tell him back up I got it cuz I’m helping my friend undo his costume so we can leave the owner looks at me and tells me is something happens it’s on me im going to pay for it like if he was gonna do something what’s more crazy is he smelled like he drank more than his costumers soooo unprofessional and sooooo disgusting I expect drunk ppl to act stupid but for the owner to act that way helped me understand why nasty ppl like his friends go to that bar because they over poor until ppl are at the point of not being able to speak and let them keep drinking and leave like that before cutting them off sad place hopefully next owner would be more professional until then u want a fun spot with a professional owner this place definitely...

This is the 2nd time I have tried to come in to this bar with my service dog. Everybody including the bartenders were yelling at me last weekend even though she is my service dog, and I tried to go in again tonight with some reputable friends from the community and I was turned away. They were asking for a card and they are not allowed to do that, even though I had it on me and willing to show them. The bartender was arguing with me telling me my dog needs to be in a service vest and that is not true. The service vest that she has, does not fit her because she has lost weight and it is not safe for her. This establishment needs to know their rights and watch what they ask people with service dogs because it is against the law from what they are doing. We parked in the handicap spot near the establishment and upon returning to our vehicle, a young waitress loudly assaulted us in the presence of other customers. She stated we “caused her to lose business” by being parked there for “over 2 hours” (on a Wednesday afternoon from noon to 2pm) and that we “never park there again, okay?” My aunt currently has a torn hip and a fractured wrist, and we had every right to park there as we have a handicap placard. Also worth noting, is that there is no sign that says the spot is reserved for paying customers only. Her behavior towards us was completely uncalled for and I feel discriminated against.
