Great visit to Kimberly's and enjoyed the live music from across the street while sitting outside. Our server Mark was excellent as were our meals. Try the Mussels appetizer. The Swordfish grom the specials menu was outstanding.

Very good food, decent service, very polite and personable. Good for couples dining with friends. Happy Valentine's day. No prefixed menu. Live entertainment. We will be back. Thanks for running a hat we left out to us.

Amazing dinner! I need to know what they put in that olive oil for the bread! Hannah was a great server. Wasn’t rushed and very attentive. Will definitely go back again!

Awful experience dining here. Food was tasteless. We got an open-face steak sandwich and the scallop special. We asked for the steak to be medium-rare and it was dry and tough. The french bread it was on was burnt and hard, making it difficult to chew. The sandwich was dry, no sauce or gravy of any kind just a little bit of cheese on top. It was so dry and hard that it was difficult to eat. The fries it came with were more like chips, they crumbled in my mouth like they were triple fried.

The scallops were tiny, the cheap frozen kind you would buy at a grocery store. They were not soft and tender like a scallop should be, they were rubbery. They were served with a side of zucchini and rice. The zucchini had no flavor and the tiny bit of rice was definitely old. It was easy to tell that it had been reheated (probably older than even one day). When the waitress asked how the food was, we told her not good and that the steak was dry and tasteless. All she said was "oh im sorry about that" and walked away. No follow up questions, no offer to perhaps get something else, and nothing was comped on the bill. So, what was the point of asking how the food was if you don't plan on doing anything about it? Basically she asked just as a formality.

We were there at 7pm on a Friday night which is peak dinner time, yet the restaurant was empty. There were people sitting outside but we were only the second table inside and the indoors has a good amount of seating. This is unusual for a busy island in mid summer on a Friday night, and everywhere else we looked was slammed. I found that strange considering when I went to book the reservation, it only showed two tables available yet the entire place was empty. So either a bunch of people canceled last minute or they are messing with reservations to make it appear like its busier than it is.

I took the time to write a long review because I don't want anyone else going here and feeling ripped off like I did. We walked in super excited and walked out feeling duped. Ended up going somewhere else after for food. The prices at this place are too high for the garbage they are serving. You are better off going elsewhere, even if you end up paying a tiny bit more at least you will enjoy your dinner. I highly doubt most locals are dining here and they seem to benefit from people vacationing on the island who will be...

Service without a smile. As someone from NYC I've had my share of servers and hosts that could be bothered less with people. However, the hostess at this restaurant was just down right miserable when it came to interacting with me and my friends. But had smiles for days for every other group that walked in. When we came up to the hostess stand she told us that there were only indoor seating available. There were numerous outdoor tables open at the time when we got there but we just figured they were reserved. I was quickly proven wrong when the next group of people that came in just a minute after us were asked by the hostess if they would like outdoor or indoor seating. No ask if they had a reservation or anything. We continue to watch more groups of varying sizes come and get the choice of where they'd like the be seated. Never once asked if any of them had a reservation. When my friend went to ask the hostess about this after our meal, about why we were taken to the darkest corner of the restaurant instead of given the choice of outdoor seating, she was rude and kept cutting my friend off, not letting her talk, and just simply walking away stating "if you were a hostess then you should know how it is". It was clear to my friend that she was caught in a lie about everyone having reservations once we brought up overhearing her with the other patrons and was stumbling through the conversation because of it. Food was good and came out quickly at least. Only reason service isn't 1 star completely was that our server for the table was nice and efficient. Would have to be forced against my will to ever dine...

I have been going to Block Island every summer for over 30 years now; this past week was the first time I've been to Kimberly's. I loved it so much, that I went one night and then back again three nights later. This place is a gem! The service was friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean, the decor is beautiful and comfortable, the available parking is a nice bonus. The star of the show is the food! The warm and crusty bread with garlicky olive oil they give you at the beginning of your meal is scrumptious. On my first visit, I got the chicken teriyaki potstickers appetizer; the potstickers were just the right amount of crispy, and the chili sauce they were served with was delicious; I liked these so much, that I got them again on my 2nd visit. On my first visit I had the Plain and Simple White Fish; don't let the name fool you, this fish dish was incredible! The fish was cooked perfectly - flaky and moist. The accompanying rice and vegetables were delicious. On my 2nd visit, I got the Miso Glazed Cod - literally the best fish I have ever had! And the accompanying basmati rice/roasted corn curry succotash, wow! I don't even have the words to describe how outstanding it is. I wish I could jar up that succotash because I would be thrilled to eat it every day! Amazing! I skipped dessert, but would like to try something on a future visit. I am very much looking forward to dining at Kimberly's again next...
