This place was poorly organized. I visited on a Saturday around 2:30 PM. The featured dishes were not available, or the wait time for them was 30 minutes to an hour. There was only one person taking orders, and she had to step away several times to check if ordered items were available. At one point, there wasn't anyone taking orders for 10 minutes. I waited over 40 minutes to place my order. The place was hot, and the AC was off. I ordered cou-cou and king fish, pudding & souse, and lead pipes. I also ordered turnovers, but they were sold out. There weren't any jam puffs. The pudding and souse was excellent, but the cou-cou for some strange reason, had a lot of stringy particles in it. The king fish we delicious. Due to the disorganized staff and the length of time it took to place my order, I will not be visiting the business again.
I revisited this place on 10/18/25, and the serviced have improved. There were more staff at the front, and the order time was significantly less than the previous week. The staff were polite, but I had to repeat my order several times. I give them kudos for the service improvements. On the food side, they had turnovers, and the fish cake...
Read moreI really wanted to like this restaurant but honestly the food is a major turn off. I understand the owner wants to run a business but here are a few important things to note; There’s no other way to put this, the food needs drastic improvements; the rice used is the tough parboil kind that tastes like plastic and it’s not properly washed enough please try and change the type used it doesn’t have to be expensive but even the cheap regular rice is better. The meat needs to be seasoned better and not cooked to hell. The meatloaf was the toughest thing I’ve ever tasted and it was way too dry. The higher prices don’t match the food quality and that’s another thing. The customers don’t need much we just need good food. Overall please get a trained professional cook/chef the restaurant has potential and the menu doesn’t necessarily have to change but the food itself needs better...

We got the opportunity to try the food again and we both love the changes that were made, and everything was delicious. We will definitely will be ordering from this restaurant again
The fish cake was hard on the outside and soft on the inside but was missing some ingredient, the sweet bread was good, the pudding and souse was great, my husband love the pudding but I did not, the rock cake was awful it was under cook and taste bad, the mixture was off and as a bajan I lived for rock cake so I was disappointed, the salt bread was good. The beef...
