We stopped here after getting off the Ferry. We were met by a warm and friendly face who was sat down at one of the tables. She was friendly and explained the food she had available. We had chicken & spinach with spicy rice and Jerk chicken with white rice. The food was really tasty. It was very quiet but a few locals came in and got food. This place was really nice because it wasn’t a chain or the same crap. It was different food and really nice to try. If you can’t handle spicy food don’t go for the jerk chicken.

The food was delicious. We had jollof rice with chicken, egusi with chicken & okra with goat. We got two fufus too. The food was flavorful and stayed warm although we live like 30 mins away. Highly recommended if you are looking for bold flavor and something different. We had excellent customer service and saw her making the fufu while we were there waiting! And the meat being halal was an excellent bonus!

My wife and I took a trip to NY. It was my first time in the city. Being a man who loves food, I always love to try new ethnic foods. It was a quaint little place and very inviting. Abey and her daughter were so kind. The food was absolutely amazing. If it is your first visit to Stanten Island or you have lived there for years, Abeys is a must!

This lady is rude as hell .. I placed an online order .. Online it clearly says Egusi AND efo rio WITH fish .. She called me saying one fish she can use chicken and it doesn’t come with both it’s either or so choose despite it being clear ENGLISH stating it comes with BOTH .. She then begins yelling at me and not letting me speak when I asked her to please cancel the order on her end so I wouldnt be charged a cancel fee , seeing as though you don’t have what I want and the listing is incorrect on what it comes with .. She refused and hung up in my face .. Rude rude rude rude rude .. I would be banned from commenting if I said how I really feel , I deeply dislike poor customer service because I give everyone the respect they deserve FIRST and I’m spending my hard earned money with you and you treat me as if I’m burdening you ? Grinds my gears down soooo bad .. I’ll take my money back to Naija Bar and Grill .. that’s usually my go to and I decided to try somewhere new for a change and look at the regret smh .....

The food is good but the two women who work there are not polite at all!! They have the most nastiest unpleasant attitudes, they charge about $17 for one piece of a really small fish and fufu but refuse to give you enough of the sauce that goes with the fufu dough. They put your food and a very small squared container and if you even dare to ask them for more pepper sauce on your fish they proceed to tell you that they cannot in a very nasty way even after paying so much money. The food is decent but if you are anything like me and enjoy pleasant service where you go and spend your hard earned money at; I wouldn’t recommend. You definitely leave feeling very uneasy and disrespected!! If you are an American and not their culture they will treat you very bad! Those two women need to really have better attitudes while...
