The Burrito Shoppe — Restaurant in New York

First time trying them out and I must say we were very pleasantly surprised. Our order took a shorter time than anticipated, so mayor points for that. The delivery guy wore a mask and gloves, our food was hot, from the moment we opened our containers we could smell the freshness of the food, and you tell they really cared about the presentation, and definitely not stingy with ingredients. My husband ordered 3 different type tacos, that were packed with meat and literally had slices of avocado with them. I had the burrito bowl, again packed with freshly cooked meat and fresh produce. I just can't stop talking about it. Neither one finished our orders, we just have them on stand by for our friday night snack attack. In times like this is nice to have a nice friendly restaurant serving their community. The Burrito Shoppe has definitely gained a new customer, can't wait to share this experience with the rest...

HORRIBLE & RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DIRTY SERVERS! I used to frequent this place only when certain workers were on duty. They are all gone and it went from acceptable to DISGUSTING. They rob you as they charge what they wish from day to day and the portions are inconsistent. The food is dry. The women behind the counter seem dirty...fixing their undergarments and shorts and then serving food. The floors and tables are sticky as well. I have tried to give it another chance but walked out several times. It's a waste of good...

Unfortunately after being told several times by the manager that there isn't chicken stock in their Spanish rice I learned today there is. The worst part is if I'm asking whether or not a dish has a specific ingredient it could be for an allergy or dietary restrictions. Honesty would have been appreciated rather than be lied to by the manager the multiple times I went and purchased the rice, beans and vegetables. Well now I'm aware and will never go back.
