hey, i’m only giving two stars because the food was pretty good. It was delicious 🫢! But there was bad customer service, food took so long to come. I did not like this. Also the waiter was really rude, not with a good positive attitude, she seemed racist that girl..💀They don’t know how to calculate the orders properly. She needs to go back to school and learn that math again!! 😂😂😂😂 It was my friend’s birthday, and they ruined her birthday!! They made her have a horrible time!! Not even a happy birthday written on the plate, she was not even sung!! Never coming back again, such a bad experience they should not even be open if they have waiters who treat the customers bad with attitude.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Give your waiters a training how treat customers with positivity, & respect. The carne asada tacos & the churros were so good though!! I don’t recommend going, the waiter should be fired 🤬🤬! This was today, 1/31/25, thank you for reading this..hope this...

Honestly we did not enjoy the food, but giving 2 stars because of the customer service. Our server did an amazing job of attending to our table. But I will point out, it was a bit uncomfortable being peered at by the other staff during our meal.

If you are not accustomed to authentic flavors of true Mexican cuisine, you will enjoy the food. Presentation wise the food looked promising, but unfortunately it fell short on flavor. Even though their restaurant description states “Mexican modern cuisine,” I think they forgot Mexican flavor.

The atmosphere is very chic, nice, and clean. I would have loved to come back for a date night for sure.

Upon looking at the reviews online, it’s unfortunate that the expectations do not reflect. The 5 star reviews are a bit far...

Upon entering there was a sign in front stating the hours of happy hour. I love a good happy hour from time to time but i didn't get a drink. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Easy to talk while you eat. I ordered a passion fruit drink to start which was refreshing. I wish I had ordered a appetizer because my food took a while. I was hungry lol. Anyway I ordered a chicken tika chimichanga. It was nice and hot but it didn't have enough seasoning to my liking. The chicken shreds were good but the bigger pieces inside weren't edible. I had to spit it out. So that disappointed me. But overall I enjoyed the atmosphere which allowed me to enjoy my lunch time...

Honestly.. I’m convinced they didn’t even try. The chicken nachos were a joke. Extremely bland unseasoned chicken, and not layered nicely. Literally the toppings were nonexistent, and a skimp/ thin / poor layering of the toppings that was able to be picked up to display bare naked tortilla chips entirely underneath.. threw it in the garbage because what was even the point ? Steak tacos were also literally just steak on a tortilla.. no salsas given. No cheese. Nothing. The steak was at least fresh tasting but the entire meal was BLAND. No seasoning whatsoever. I really wanted to like this place. Uptown needs more good food. But I’m sad to say I won’t ordering again.

A delightful addition to the neighborhood. *They now have their liquor license too!!* I have come to eat here several times since they opened and tried a new dish each time. The food is delicious Tex-Méx and prepared with artistry. So far, the tacos (tacos birria!!), fajitas and flautas are top notch. The owners are kind and welcoming every time. The space is clean and modern, with good music playing at all times. There is a main dining-room seating area separate from an elevated bar space. I’ve seen several families, friends and groups stop by. It’s a good place for happy hour and friends. If you have to try one dish, order the Elote Asado. Delicioso.
