Columbia Deli — Restaurant in New York

This local deli is a hidden gem just a block or two from the hospital — conveniently located but easy to overlook from the outside. Once you step in, you’re greeted by a charming setup. Past the stand of candies and nuts near the entrance, you’ll find fridges to the right and an impressive deli counter on the left with a massive selection of offerings.

They cater to every craving, from breakfast to lunch and dinner, with plenty of quick meal options. Compared to nearby restaurants, this spot is perfect for a fast and satisfying bite. While some reviews mention pricing concerns, I’ve found it to be pretty average — not overly expensive. If you’re on a tighter budget, it might be worth asking for prices beforehand.

I’ve personally enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches, omelets, coffee, and even a cheesesteak, and I’ve been happy with every order. Picture attached of my coffee and gum I picked to try out this morning. Saw they have a huge selection of chocolates too (from the lightest milk chocolate to dark).

Everyone’s experience may vary, but I’ve found the food, variety, and welcoming atmosphere to be more than worth the visit. I’ll continue to stop by whenever I can.

Open at all types of hours WITH THE GRILL AND TAKES CASH !!

Delivery was quick and fresh this is my new favorite late night place. Super convenient and followed all the requests I asked.

Be aware this is a running store so of course the in person customer's come first which is perfectly fine for me but if it's not for you then you can always order online!

SADLY this was a review that had 5 stars when I ordered over the phone but I went I went in person the lady who was the cashier was very unprofessional and charged me $5 for a bacon egg n cheese , some might think that's normal but you pay $5 for a great bacon egg and cheese not for some below average bacon egg and cheese . It's VERY EXPENSIVE a candy that is usually 25¢ is 75¢ . A sandwich that's usually $3.50 is $5 . It's not an overpriced ripoff deli like so many bodegas. This is a place people order dinner from, breakfast -- at all hours. One thing that impressed me was, I've been living here a couple years, I've come in with my kids and bought ice cream or a cool drink on a hot day -- the guy who works the register, he knows everyone -- he knows your face. If you're short 50 cents for what you put on the counter, he puts in the change himself and says, hit me back when you've got it. How many businesses run on trust like that?
