Would have given all stars as the food, the service from the front house crew and the back was great. The location is easy to reach and I availed the valet parking on a weekend and most of my guests parked by themselves as the valet crew qas super slow parking and bringing back the cars. Good atmosphere and good size hall for 180 people to move around very comfortably. NOTE to the owners would be to watch out for their manager who is a schemer and changes his words everytime we called in to confirm table cloath, hanky and other querrys about amenities. The manager won't let us in before an hour from our party as he said it take only 20mins to decor a room like that. Not sure he ever worked in F&B industry before this which he claimed he did. Secondly at the end of the party when it is time to pay the remaining amount I have my cash ready as he said he insisted cash, and he breaks the news that he did not charge me for the service charge and the front staff that worked won't get paid so he wants me to put in another $480 on top of what is owed. The total package was set as per menu, guest amount and service charge initially and after the initial deposit the natural process is to clear the remaining dues. No place in the world holds off on the service charge until the end of the party as that's deceving, i know it for sure since i grew up in family that owns multiple 3 star hotels back in the country.

Again to the owners, take action before your business and reputation gets hurt because of one man who is always scheming to get a little extra money for the business or his own pocket that I don't know. Also please work on your HVAC system as the hall does get quite hot at times...

Agra Palace in Queens, New York, is a culinary gem that never fails to impress. My recent dining experience there was nothing short of extraordinary.

The moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance. The decor is tastefully done, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners of all kinds.

Now, let's talk about the food – it's a true culinary journey. Agra Palace specializes in halal cuisine, and each dish is a masterpiece. From the rich and aromatic curries to the perfectly grilled kebabs, every bite bursts with flavor. Their biryanis are simply exceptional, and I can't get enough of them.

What truly makes Agra Palace stand out is the passion and dedication of the staff, led by the owner, Tharek. Tharek's commitment to providing top-notch service is evident from start to finish. He's not only welcoming but also goes the extra mile to ensure your dining experience is memorable.

Whether you're looking for a cozy dinner for two or planning a special event, Agra Palace is a top choice. Their catering services are equally outstanding, making any occasion a culinary delight.

In conclusion, Agra Palace is a must-visit for anyone in search of delicious halal cuisine in New York City. With its fantastic food, welcoming ambiance, and attentive owner and staff, it's a place I wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family. Dining here is always a memorable and...

It’s a good sized and nice looking place to have party but I am NEVER returning to them EVER AGAIN !! Food was good. Servers was well behaved . However, the management needs to be more sincere about clients request . The Manager named Mamun was giving us the best service until he got paid $$. But I didn’t like that he was rushing us through out the whole party ! There was so much left overs as some of the guests were no-show. Another 20-25 people could easily eat. But when we asked he only packed us food for 5-7 people and lied saying he threw out the rest in garbage . When I asked one of the server , they were looking at each other with guilt in their faces and asked us to make a request to the manager . I think they save food to serve the next party . I feel bad , that some of my family member had to eat pizza when we came home after the party as they didn’t pack enough food even after making multiple requests. Manager Mamun kept pushing to add more guests as they get paid per head, and also told us that we can take the left overs if anything. But he failed to meet his words for sure . Also, there was no Lassi served as promised earlier.

Hope this review helps the owner and management to make better choices in future . Please don’t loose your customers for immature choices like...

This place was pretty disappointing. Two major problems, one - Their Tikka Masala 😐 wow, so bland! I swear they gave me butter chicken instead - and I used to like and order their food too in 2020, before they stopped delivery in my neighborhood. So it was disappointing that they altered the recipe for whatever reasons. Their balti was also pretty different from what I've experienced, which it was kind of cinnamony? Not the best at flavor profiling though, so don't quote me. Secondly, I dined at the restaurant, which ended up being a bit weird as it's a party hall and was completely empty, and just in general the vibe was awkward, but it's fine - the issue was that I had also got rice with meal.. which was topped with fried onions. Odd, but fine - but when I asked to take the rest of the meal home : They didn't pack the leftover rice 😐 which there was a lot of... To note something good though! Their samosas, and especially the spring rolls, were exceptional good.

Had one of my events here. I am giving 3 stars because I was forced to buy 150 plates because the manager said there is no way he will book the venue for 100 guests only. At the end 80 people (including kids) were at this event. Our food tasted much better on the day we tasted the menu. Also didn’t follow my instructions on appetizers but it was overall not bad on the food. The staff that served at my event was good and kind. The stage was decorated well enough I think (still not sure if that worth a $1000). My husband and I talked about leaving a nice tip for the staff at all our events and we were not able to do that at this venue bc we paid so much extra on the plates for guests I didn’t have!! And we paid tips on those extra plates no body ate!! Pictures I uploaded are from the tasting not the event.

My friends and I were walking around, craving Indian food, when we stumbled upon Agra Palace. The restaurant was empty when we walked in, which made us a bit unsure, but the manager quickly explained they were preparing for a private event. Despite that, he was incredibly humble and welcoming, offering us a table right away. We ordered chicken biryani, butter chicken, beef curry, chicken kebab, white rice, and garlic naan. I have to say, the food was top notch, and the service was outstanding. We left thoroughly impressed and will definitely be coming back with more friends and family
