I work for a local airline and our hub is nearby this office. I was looking for someone in the neighborhood who understands the needs of LGBTQ+ care and my insurance company sent me to this office. I had a less than favorable experience with my last PCP so I neglected my health for the last several years. I came to the office with some nerves.
The office was clean and the front desk staff were very nice. The office was busy but the staff seemed to genuinely like their jobs and people seemed happy. The doctor that I saw immediately recognized that I was nervous and took his time with me. He didn't even start with an examination, but asked me about myself and if I go to work or school, which I found strangely refreshing. I felt so at ease.
By the end of the examination, I felt less nervous. All of my questions were answered. This experience was so different from my previous medical encounters. I felt valued as a person and listened to. After I expressed that I was nervous about the results, the doctor said, don't let your imaginary results ruin your week. Let me worry about them. We will address anything that needs to be addressed next week. Go have a great week. He thanked me for choosing this office. I found this funny because we say something similar to the passengers on our flights. I was still nervous for the entire week, but tried to remember the words.
At my follow up examination there were a few abnormalities but nothing major! Dr. Backos explained all of the results, the plan (mostly about dietary changes and how to implement them) and I was given a copy of my labs. He was very motivational and optimistic, which I found very helpful. He showed me some reliable dietary websites too. I found the doctor to be very knowledgeable and even though there were several patients in the office, I didn't feel rushed. He took his time and advised a very sensible approach to my treatment plan. I actually look forward to my three month follow up! Thank you to the...
Read moreDon't be fooled by the positive reveiws. Come for a few visits first and then decide. The drs are always "nice". That doesnt mean they are good doctors. They are just a cog in the machine. The drs blame everything on weight and are only interested in pushing statins and blood pressure meds. And not finding out the underlying reason for the weight gain. The 2nd time I went I was kept waiting forever. They love to milk the visits and bill the insurance for things that don't happen during the visit. How do you bill for smoking cessation if the only suggestion is "behavior modification"? Yet you deny a prescription for cessation meds without a valid reason. At another visit they decided to not tell me that one dr didn't take my insurance..but another dr did? And transfered me to a dr that I have never seen before without a heads up. This makes no sense at all. How does that work if both are working for the same practice which is owned by dr.salib? And good luck trying to get any help with woman's issues. Especially if you are fat and female. And if you refuse taking their statins good luck in getting any help at all. It is proven that women in perimenopause experience an increase in cholesterol and weight gain and fatigue. So why would I take statins(which cause alzheimers) if the problem is lack of estrogen? If you just need a dr to do authorizations and fill scripts you're already on then it's fine..but if you have issues and are looking for them to dig deeper and help..try Dr.Esther Chaim down the road. She is amazing. She found a issue that was causing pain that all of my other drs ignored because they only saw weight gain. She is curt and not very chatty because shes so busy..but she means business and she will find out what's wrong with you and get you on the right meds..And there are never any problems with her front desk staff. She makes sure to plan fasting blood tests in the morning so she can get...
Read moreI cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Gregory Beckos, Anneliese the Nurse Practitioner, and the entire team at this practice. From the moment I walked in, the front staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. They made the check-in process smooth and ensured my privacy was protected throughout my visit, which I deeply appreciated.
Dr. Beckos is the epitome of what a primary care physician should be. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything thoroughly, and made me feel completely at ease. His compassionate approach to care and dedication to his patients is truly unmatched.
Anneliese, the Nurse Practitioner, is equally wonderful—she is knowledgeable, warm, and made sure I felt heard. She was instrumental in coordinating my care, connecting me to a mammogram and other specialists seamlessly. This level of coordination gave me complete peace of mind and reassured me that my health is in the best hands.
The practice as a whole provides an incredibly safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. Every interaction was handled with the utmost care and professionalism, and I always felt like I was their top priority.
If you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares about your well-being and goes above and beyond to ensure you receive the best care possible, I highly recommend Dr. Beckos, Anneliese, and their exceptional front staff. This is a medical team you can trust...
