Akaru Sushi — Restaurant in New York

We were missing an item from our order. We called the restaurant and the person on the phone admitted that he was at fault as he just saw "spicy" and selected mayo and not the roll that was requested. When we asked if they could have the roll sent over to us (as it was the restaurant that was at fault) the person on the phone made up several excuses as to why he could not (it's getting busy, he couldn't find his drivers, etc.) while he did offer a credit in the amount of the missing item, after this exchange, we were so turned off from every ordering with them again that we just took a credit that we know we probably will never use (especially since he admitted he was the one at fault for the messed up order). Ordered for a delivery on Friday evening 7:30pm. Hasn't arrived at 9:05pm. Called the delivery guy and said there is nothing for my address. Called restaurant - they are saying the delivery guy is coming and delivery person is not picking up my call. I told them to refund if I don't get it in 10 minutes. I have been waiting more and still the food hasn't arrived. I called the restaurant and they said cancelled the order right away because I want a "refund" and the delivery guy is already back. Please don't go to this place - they serve horrible food; i took out my mom for Mother's day and it was a disgrace, what an embarrassment..shame on you..small portions (4 sushi rolls) and more importantly bad taste, bad shape (dry cucumbers sticking out of my roll & cheating (no shrimp at all in my boston roll); we did not leave only because it was raining cats and dogs; they make it only good enough for you not to get sick..i just moved to Bushwick..you could have had a customer for years..now you have nothing..(oh aside from the 40 bucks you undeservedly earned...
