1st of let's start with the 2 guys behind the counter talking about fast food restaurants that they like n wanna go to, as a food critic I think its distasteful to talk about other restaurants you want to go to with patrons in this restaurant, now for the atmosphere very outdated n filled with kids screaming taking up just not the tables but filled the aisle to get to the counter as they watched a movie on TV, so differently not a place for a sit down dinner, now what you all be waiting for is the quality of the food, since we were not able to sit and eat we grab a few square slices as which they are supposedly known for as our squares did not look or taste as One Bite states, they square slices are thick n doughy with extremely sweet n bitter sauce and most of all we got a square slice that was missing a good portion of the cheese.... As I do not recommend this place and my recommendation is based on 2 trips to Alfies, at 2 different times and again it was like romper room with undesirable pizza... so 🍕 star

The family and I were looking for a good pizza spot before our drive back to PA. Our usual place was closed for the holiday weekend, so we decided to try this pizza place because of all the good reviews and was close in proximity to where we were in Hillside. Louie behind the counter is a great guy. Very nice and very welcoming with a big smile. The pizza was what you expect from a New York pizzeria. Crust is crunchy yet soft, nice little char on the crust to give it that blackened flavor after-taste, which is amazing. Everything from the cheese to the sauce made the cooked slice look like it was golden brown. The crust was also not too thin and also not too thick. It was the perfect size to get that crunch from a slice. I also ordered a sausage roll and garlic knots, which were also equally yummy. Overall, I would not hesitate to come here again next time I am in town. Great pizza with a smile.

The staff is friendly and nice, I’ve had their pizza and it’s okay. My biggest issue is with their pasta and garlic knots. They use WAAAAAY too much oil on both. I’ve given them a few chances, and I even asked them if they could ease up on the oil, but they never listen, so I stopped ordering from there. My husband ordered pizza from another place and I thought that’s where he was getting my pasta from, but he ordered it from here because the other place didn’t have tortellini. He even told them to go light on the oil and this is what I get. There is absolutely no reason that there should be this much excess oil. I’ve had their tortellini in pesto and it’s the same thing: ridiculous amounts of excess oil. If you order from here, maybe just stick with the pizza, unless you just like drinking oil.

Best pizza in all of Queens!!!! I've had Sofias on 112st and Rockaway overpriced and had to throw the whole sicilian pie out bc the sauce was so nasty. Tommys on Liberty and 118 st sauce is so sour. By far the best pizza, sicilian and prices!!!! Imagine Tommys sicilian served only 8 slices when a sicilaian is 12 slices and Sofias charged $25 dollars for the same sicilian Alfies charges $18. Ive also had Gabbys Pizza on Hillside which is supposed to be so good, nope service sucked, pizza was soggy and they claim to be the best in queens, not a chance. If your in Richmond Hill you need to try Alfies!!! The secret is always in the sauce. Ive had the famous Park Pizza in Howard Beach , no crust and soggy nothing to rave about. Alfies crust is crunchy and substantial. Marinara is the BEST.....They use fresh veggies if you order pizza with mushrooms your getting fresh mushrooms not the canned mushrooms that most pizzarias use. They also have fresh mozzarella for pizza topping!! OMG they are the best and I never write reviews!! Its so hard these days to find delicous pizza and great prices. Please open more...

One of the standout pizzerias in Queens is this family-owned establishment run by a brother and sister team. Their plain $12 pie is simply amazing and offers great value for money. Personally, I prefer mine with a slight crispiness. It easily holds its own against other local pizza places in Queens like New Park Pizza, House of Dani's, and Nick's Pizzeria.

However, I'm not sure who started the trend that they specialize in square slices because, in reality, their squares are quite mediocre. They tend to be too doughy, which aligns with some other reviews I've read. Additionally, their vegetable pie isn't my favorite due to the use of pickled jalapeños.

However, the place is still stuck in a time capsule for better or worse. While it has its charm, a renovation would be cool to inject some freshness. Adding a touch of individuality and unique style would greatly enhance the overall experience.

On a positive note, I really hope they bring back their pesto pie! It's a delightful option that I highly recommend.

Overall, I would rate their regular pie a solid 7.9/10 and their pesto pie an...
