I came today after years wanting to try this place...service was great,I just wish they really welcome us with a smile...other than that they both did great job! We tried their desserts first...tulumbe ...hm ...they need to be more airy, fluffy and crispy edges outside...not too sweet which is super common for tulumbe...but I didn't mind that...the syrup should be more thicker and lemon zest taste...bakalava is ok,!..I hesitate to buy it after trying tulumbe but they looked so promising ..I ordered 3 whole bureks to go and yogurts..yogurts are nicely made, whatever reminds me on my home I would give a thumbs up..they were probably day or two old but still good!!! And burek is definitely made with a nice technique...usually dough is thinner but I loved it ...super crispy and nicely made...meat,not so original recipe..not a lot of onion and black pepper..and meat was yummy but didn't bring me home...spinach was so so and cheese one is definitely not a favorite one...a lot of ricotta cheese or maybe a variety of home made cheese spread...needs a good feta...but so far the best of I tried so far....not too greasy which burek is remarkable...I didn't mind that....many people didn't achieve how to make dough for burek, this one was great...I would recommend this place and I...

I had nothing to do on a Sunday so we drove from queens to the bx to try out their Albanian specials and they did NOT disappoint. It looks like a pizza shop but serves baklava, another pastry coated in a honey syrup and fresh yogurt. We sat down and had one slice each and it was so good I decided to get a pie to go. I'm glad I got there when I did, as we were eating a lot more people started coming and they sold out of some of the pies. We got the meat, the spinach and the ricotta cheese. It was worth the trip to the BX. Wouldn't do it during rush hour but definitely a spot I would hit again if I get a craving or I'm in the area. Also a place I would bring friends to. Now I know to call ahead so they can have pies ready for me and I don't have to worry about anything...
