Asian King — Restaurant in New York

Its a sunday nite and just came from Asian King. It appears that there are no longer dinner specials available for eating in. Dinner items are a la carte which raises the cost considerably..The price for many entrees exceeds the old dinner special. Lunch specials are still available beginning at $6.25 The take out menu still lists lunch and dinner specials. Ordering online saves 20% but be careful as many prices on onlne are higher than on printed take out menu. I find charging more for a sit down dinner than for a take out meal to be bizarre. Dors it cost more to serve it? Also deprive waitress of a tip.Maybe this explains why on sunday at dinner time only 1 table was in use. I have tried many different Chinese cuisines throughout both Manhattan and Brooklyn. This was my first time trying out this restaurant, Asian King (which came to me as a recommendation from a friend that lives close in the area.)

The food, the service and the delivery were all amazing!!!

I was very surprised at how generous the portions of the food were and how fresh the food was too! I understand that in today's economy there is shrinkflation, but it was a much welcomed surprise when I saw that I received a very generous portion for the price which also was not bad at all either.

The food was actually so good that I ordered immediately again the next night! I highly recommend Asian King!!

ASIAN KING! to start, this place is always gives welcoming experience with good food and helpful staff. I often come here with my husband and kids on weekends. Sometimes busy during the dinner rush but food is always prepared and brought out in a timely manner. My kids can be quite picky but they have a huge selection on their menu so everyone is able to get what they want and modify it however. I preferred to dine in rather than takeout from this place, though, because the food taste best when fresh. overall, I find myself coming back to the same restaurant although I have tried others in the area, this one is by far the best!
