Aunt Butchie's Desserts — Restaurant in New York

I am at a loss for words at what happened this evening. Not only was my order incorrect again and missing items, but the few items I received were also doused in pounds of nutella. I am not certain why, I did not order anything with nutella but unfortunately why wouldn’t this happen considering they get everything wrong all the time. I am wondering if they gave me someone else’s order instead. My night ended with taking emergency Benadryl due to my severe tree nut allergy. This could’ve been worse. I spoke to a manager on the phone by the name of Autumn, and the conversation fell on deaf ears. It became apparent that Autumn was unaware that nutella contains nuts (Hazelnut). It is disheartening to say that some of the employees at thus establishment are incompetent and completely negligent.

Unbelievable how every time I order from here the employees get the order WRONG. If not part of the order, then the entire order is wrong and/or missing items. Every single time. Probably one of the most frustrating things. Doordash has now flagged my account because I have to file a dispute every time I’ve ordered from there due to missing and incorrect items. Chances are if you’ve ever had a slice of chocolate mousse cake at a restaurant in the N.Y. area it came from Aunt Butchies. (Not necessarily from this location) The mousse cakes here are amazing. They also have a variety of other cakes from red velvet to various cheesecakes & a sample cake with 3 slices each of some of their most popular cakes. The cakes are perfect for office parties as they come pre sliced. Typically 14 slices per cake separated by a piece of wax paper. Keep in mind these cakes are Never fresh & always frozen. As they are not baked at this location. So I would recommend buying your cake the day before and placing it in the fridge. Probably because I can be impatient at times but it just feels like they take forever to defrost. They also have cheesecake cones & an interesting assortment of cookies. Including some as large as a cupcake. They have three small tables that seat two. Two of which are outside & one indoors. Other than cookies or an ice cream shake all the other desserts in the display case (freezer with glass door) are frozen & should be defrosted before serving. Next time your craving something sweet give Aunt...

I drove there exactly 46 blocks specifically because their cheesecakes looked amazing online. When I got there all the cheesecakes are stacked in a fridge for you to grab yourself which is fine but some stuff wasn’t marked so I didn’t know what was what. A majority of them were marked. So I decided To get what seemed like a cannoli the young lady working there told me it has cheese cake inside and it’s really popular, it looked so good. I got that and a few cookies. The cookies were AMAZING to die for! Unfortunately the cannoli wasn’t good at all. It tasted like it has been sitting in the refrigerator and wasn’t fresh at all. I took one bite and I had my husband taste it and he told me it didn’t taste good at all. I’m going to assume all the stuff in the fridge which is self served isn’t made fresh daily. So I threw it up which sucked! Aside from that the girl working there was super super nice!! I gave 4 stars because the cookies were delicious just upset about the cannoli not tasting...
