This is a really great UES bar scene and it is not just for drinking cocktails. The full Cafe Boulud menu is available at the bar (plus the bar menu), so if you are dining alone this works well. The food at Cafe Boulud is of course excellent. The service is also excellent. They are happy to let you eat a la carte from the various menus.
