Bases Loaded Sports Bar — Restaurant in New York

Bases loaded is truly my neighborhood bar but I just had an experience that had me rethink how I feel about this bar. The place was almost empty today since the football game was over and the bar was about to close down for the night. A late, unfamiliar customer had come a little earlier before closing At some point, he starts talking about how he almost got fired because he refused to vaccinate against Covid when it was rampant. I contracted covid at work and it almost killed me and it did killed my mother. Both of us developed Covid pneumonia, but I survived, my mother didn't. It wasn't until I got my first dose of the Covid vaccine that my health improved enough to allow to go back to work. That is why this smug asshole's comments really hit a nerve and angered me. I asked him if he knew how many people he killed because he refused to vaccinate it. Like many infectious diseases, you can contract Covid, show few or no symptpms, but still be a carrier who spreads a killing virus. I told him that I had contracted Covid and how it almost killed me but it how it also killed mother. What I found offensive is that the bartender at the time told us it was time to go home, but in such a way as to infer that I was the problem. This bar is one of the best bars I've ever been through to. It's located right off the 6 train at Buhre right on the corner and they're always friendly/pleasant. I've been going there for like maybe right before covid so maybe 2019 though. Me and my coworkers have such a good time. At first we thought it was like this winky dinky little bar.
