Benny's Chao King — Restaurant in New York

They need to stick to Chinese food & LEAVE THE JAPANESE FOOD TO THE JAPANESE OR ATLEAST TO PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE especially when you can't tell the difference between teriyaki sauce and bbq sauce IT IS NOT THE SAME THING

it's one thing to make something your own trying improve upon or make it different but those 2 sauces are not the same change the name on the menu.. that is most definitely not Japanese teriyaki...

The owner used to be Benny’s and that’s still the name up on the place, but I don’t know if it’s his people or not but the barbecue sauce they used to have is not the same. The barbecue sauce is like water so I suggest don’t buy. it’s a waste of time it makes the food taste horrible I called to inform them about it and she put the phone down and left me just sitting while she take care of the customers on today...

I had this spot a lot the food tastes good but I had general tso’s chicken this past Sunday 11/5/23 that wasn’t cooked right and gave me food poisoning I threw up 3 times and felt dizzy for hours even into the next day with nausea still if they are gonna put food like that out once in a while it’s not worth it you shouldn’t have experience enjoying the food then completely getting blindsided...
