We came here to celebrate a birthday with a group of nine friends, but unfortunately, the whole experience was disappointing and frustrating. From the moment we arrived, the server looked visibly grumpy and didn’t greet us at all. We ordered drinks for everyone, but only a few arrived—and even those took nearly 30 minutes. Some were so bitter we had to ask for them to be remade. We literally had to leave our table and walk up to the counter just to get her attention.

When we tried to place our food order, she continued to serve other guests who arrived after us, making us feel completely ignored. After nearly two hours of waiting, I finally asked her why we were being treated this way and how long the food would take. Her response shocked me: “You all were busy talking,” followed by a rude, “Do you need food or not?”—as if we were there expecting free meals.

The food itself was good, but the customer service was absolutely unacceptable. If you’re in the hospitality industry, kindness and respect should come first. Sadly, that was completely missing from...

We order 4 items from the menu yesterday evening around 4pm in Corona Queens we are not from the area but we got Vegan Spin rolls, Vegan Tofu, Tropical Shrimp And Chicken Krapow . Nothing on the menu said information about specifics ether medium or Very Spicy. You should tag what Dishes are Spicy and very spicy . I enjoy some spice but that food was toxic not edibles a big waist of money it ended in the trash with the jasmine rice, my lips were swollen and my stomach was on fire. We will never buy again from this place stablishment Plus the Vegan spring rolls wear soaking with Oil and the rice noodles were frozen inside and the sauteed tofu was fry big disappointement what the hell. You need to be more specific with your menu. the food was that bad I would have never order from there. The only good thing was the Speed we got the food . Very disappointed with...

Disappointing Experience and Poor Service I recently ordered here and was very disappointed. The prices on were higher than on the menu, but I let it go. The curry and the rice portion was tiny—just enough for a child. When I asked to buy another rice, the staff was dismissive and insisted that’s i should that I should be grateful for the smart child size rice that comes free with the meal. I don't ever recall in all my life time in NYC that rice doesn't come with a curry dinner in all cultures! To make matters worse, after spending over $40 on two meals, I was told there was a $10 minimum to use my credit card again when I tried to purchase another $500 rice. This policy felt unreasonable and unacceptable especially given how much I had already spent. Overall, a frustrating experience—I won’t be...

A great place for Thai! The Thai Ice Tea was refreshing and delicious. Definitely a must have, especially if you're having something spicy. The Pad Thai with crispy duck was bursting with rich flavor. The noodles were tasty and the duck had the perfect crisp to it. The curry was also a great bite. For the spicy lovers out there - my only complaint is the lack of heat in the spice department. I ordered the Pad Thai spicy, but it wasn't that hot. I asked for the hot sauce to add more heat and it barely made it hotter. Maybe it was just a bad batch of spicy? Overall, the food is amazing and the service was good. The place is small so it would be a good idea to make reservations.

This place is very fond to me, it introduced me to Thai cuisine about 4 years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since! I haven’t been there frequently as I moved out of the neighborhood, but it’s great, the food is always delicious, and not once have I had a bad experience. I remember one year my husband and I didn’t have plans for New Years, we were down in the dumps actually, and I can tell you for sure Black Thai was there to save the night, thankfully! So all in all, highly recommended, the food is always always great!

I normally don’t give ANYONE (5) stars but I had to give them the extra one because of their consistent efforts of trying to guarantee customer satisfaction. I’ve ordered several times and I’ve always had an issue with the food or delivery or missing items in the food. Today EVERYTHING arrived as it should and I’m completely satisfied. I will order again without hesitation. The delivery guy reassured my ordered we handled correctly. PadSeeEw+PapayaSalad@HolidayInn MUST TRY
