Empanadas Mix 🇻🇪 — Restaurant in New York

2nd time going here with my boyfriend and mom & it was just as great as the 1st time. My boyfriend ordered the Legendary hotdog and me and my mom got their empanadas which are amazing. Even the neighborhood locals say this is great Venezuelan food. We took a Cachapa (probably spelling it wrong, but it's like a sweet corn bread/tortilla thing and yummy cheese in the center) to-go and it was divine. The passion fruit juice is great too- can't wait to come back back to try more.

We love coming here on the weekends or weeknights for our favorite empanadas. I usually get the salchicha- the perfect combination of salty hotdog with their sweet and crispy empanada batter. Babe gets the pabellón- also sweet and savory perfection with beef, black beans, plantains and cheese. The lemonade is very good as well. Definitely our go-to spot. Service is always great. Only drawback is the size of the restaurant, which is pretty tiny, but has a great vibe nonetheless. Don’t let that keep you from trying these...

Amazing empanadas that are huge! We had cheese, shredded beef, ground beef, guava and cheese and they were all delicious. The garlic sauce is 100/10. Also got the fries with hot dog and bacon and corn- so good esp with the garlic sauce. The cachapa with cheese and pork belly is a hidden gem and my fav. Crispy flavorful pork belly still juicy with sweet corn and cheese… a sweet and savory dream! It’s a small space but service was friendly and so lovely!
