Be aware if you have allergy! Both my kids have allergies to nuts and dairy. This was informed prior to making reservations and confirmed with our waitress that night prior to placing order. First it’s by far the worse waitress we’ve ever experience with. We ordered a lot of food and the waitress messed up the order. She never repeated the order that I placed to avoid making mistake. That’s ok too but when I told her she missed the order, she said “no I only heard you ordered this”. I have asked her make sure “no nuts” on any dishes and let me know if any dairy. She never checked with the kitchen and came back to confirm all orders were indeed nut free. Then the lamb appetizer seems to have an avocado puree on it and my daughter had a huge reaction. I quickly went to the waitress told her about it and she responded“no, no nuts at all in all dishes “. My daughter has lips and throat swelling up, I asked for ice and gave her Claritin. The waitress just sneaked by without even came to check on how she was doing until much later I confronted her that the menu clearly labeled pistachio on the lamb. How could she don’t know as a waitress here? She said “oh I thought she was not going to eat the lamb?”. My son ate the lamb and he had allergies too! It’s just lucky that he didn’t touch the sauce! Also we were doing family style with all dishes sharing which she knew about it! Later 2 of the entrees we ordered contained dairy. I told the waitress again that the pasta smells like cheese. She again responded “no, no cheese in it”. I told her please asked kitchen, she then came back said “the kitchen said it just has a tiny bit of cheese “. She constantly made excuses and argued with you all night. Meanwhile my daughter allergy got worse and she rushed to the bathroom threw up and started to have belly pain. I was furious, walked out and met the manager outside and complained the situation to her. First she apologized and offer to call ambulance. I told the manager that I just needed to wrap everything and got the check to take her to hospital. While I attended to my daughter, again no staff show up to check on us. When we got out the bathroom, still no manager and waitress were to be seen. We still had to wait for our check. Slowly the manager came and apologized, I told her that they needed to train her staff about how dangerous of food allergies and not to take it lightly. She responded that “our staff is well trained “ then gave me a gift card. I see now both waitress and manager need to be trained not only in allergies but also customer service. They constantly dismissed your complaint and thinking giving you gift card could bury their mistake. They don’t take accountability from what has happened. Apparently someone else with allergies already had that happened and complained. Unprofessional restaurant, from staff to management. A fancy place with high price tag but can’t even come close to a fine dining restaurant service. Avoid...

Blue Pearl provides a romantic waterfront dining experience, where its interior design is spacious and aesthetically pleasing. They have a second floor area and a private room for those who would like a more intimate and quiet dining experience. Vivien and Diogo took great care of us and kindly helped remedied the mild issues we encountered. For drinks my wife ordered the taro tea latte which was on the sweeter side, and I ordered the regular iced latte, which was on the milder side. The taro was definitely better than the regular latte, but that's just our subjective perspective. We ordered the matcha pancake to share, which had a nice balance between the bitterness of the matcha cream and sauce, and the sweet and tanginess of its fresh pineapple and strawberry accompaniment! We also had the lobster bisque lobster roll, where although the portion is quite tiny (as evident in the picture with the strawberry for size comparison), it was still quite flavorful and fresh; definitely interested to try their truffle flavor next time! Our steak and eggs brunch was delicious, where the savory black garlic aioli paired perfectly with the steak and potato Mille-feuille. Overall the food was good and the service was great. Vivien and Diolo both checked in on us multiple times and definitely cared to provide us with an optimal dining experience. We came for brunch and would love to come back for dinner one day. The only minor critique I have was a pesky little fly roaming around our dining table, which I understand can happen at times, but I hope something can be done to ensure it doesn't detract from the romantic and elegant dining experience that Blue Pearl strives to provide! So if you're looking for a romantic and intimate dining experience with a spectacular waterfront view, Blue Pearl definitely fits that description!

Let me preface by saying that we have always been pleased with Chef Peter’s other establishments and we are big fans of Pastavino, so we couldn’t wait to see what this restaurant was going to offer.

From the minute we got to the door, there was a doorman who called in ahead to alert the reservation staff. We were asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor dining & because it was hot outside we picked inside. SO glad we did! The decor is absolutely gorgeous! The staff definitely thought through every detail! WOW!

We were seated & put our drink order in & viewed the menu. Asian/seafood fusion is the vibe here. My husband got the shrimp cocktail- huge shrimp with an array of sauces that were explained. I had spicy crispy shrimp app, delicious & spicy!

In between courses, they came to the table with fresh lemon & hot towels so you can clean your hands- so classy!!

My husband had the salmon entree & I had their version of General Tso’s chicken- again both delicious & plated so beautifully!

Desserts also different & delicious! I am not a coffee drinker & most restaurants don’t give thought to tea drinkers. Not Chef Peter! Not only did they come out with a tea box but came over with sugar cubes ( including turbinado, my fave) & placed the cubes in my tea. I have never felt so indulged!!! Call me Sugar Cube!😂

Blue Pearl has set such a high standard not only for food but for service! Every detail is amazing! You MUST visit, especially if you’re looking for a new luxury experience here in SI!

We wish Chef Peter & his team so much luck in this endeavor! It is the perfect compliment to Pastavino’s elegant dining experience.

Lastly, in regard to the review mentioning no children after 5pm... while I understand it’s an inconvenience to some, we as a couple with grown children welcome a restaurant where we can enjoy a beautiful dinner with an adult vibe. Honestly, at their price point I would be surprised that people would...

Make your reservation now! Thank me later! They confirmed my res. I made a few requests since it was my 10 wedding anniversary and they made sure everything was in place. Down to the table I requested. We walked in and Chef Peter Botros and Manager Jon Cole were right in front waiting to greet you. The audience!!! OMG!! Talk about attention to detail. Even the way the waiters are dressed. Their aprons and shoes caught my eye. Their aprons have a slot for their pen and they all had shinning brown shoes. Clean and sharp!! Drinks- My husband loves Old Fashions and he ordered Open Sesame. I’m not a drinker I loved they had a nice mocktail selection. I asked our waiter Brian what he recommended. He said the Matcha Mojito. A must try!! Food- Well where do I start. Lobster Roll to die for, Seafood Tower for 2, more like for 4, and the Rice. It was a black rice with flavors that were dancing in my mouth. I’m from West Africa. We know our rice. I’m telling you, unbelievable! There is a surprise after the seafood tower. I will not spoil that for you all. 😜Brian was amazing!! Dessert- The Manager Jon who came to our table almost every 10 mins recommended a drink. It was lavender. He did that because I was undecided on dessert. He said you all try this drink, if you like it I have the perfect dessert. He was spot on. The dessert is a lavender light cake that is just right and not to sweet. The drinks did complement it. Everyone is on point. They are all intoned with the guests, the manager Jon is present speaking to everyone in a truly genuine way to make sure everything meets your expectations. What amazing way to celebrate our anniversary. See you all there soon!!

**Update 5/5/25** Our 2nd visit and we got to try two new menu items. The "Make Me Blush" Mojito and it was delicious! We also got the Angry Lobster Ramen, and although it was tasty, it was definitely more sour than we expected. Also, our waitress Nina was super sweet. ‐---‐--------------------------------------------------- Came here for lunch with my family, and we had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and professional, but the front desk hostesses didn't notice we were standing in front of them. Our waiter was super nice and engaging, telling us about the dishes and providing us recommendations. We ordered the Lobster Roll (average price but not for the size), the Lobster Sushi Roll that tasted really good, and also the Eggplant Ravioli, which was good, but the cheese flavor was too heavy. Overall, it was a nice experience and willing to bring my friends to try the other dishes. **Also, there is free parking for restaurant guests (please see photo)
