Located in Staten Island, NY - highly recommended! PLEASE SUPPORT!! My favorite pizza place since 2019!!! They are family friendly, but in my opinion the place is more for adults. Eat-in and take-out. During my many visits: The staff was awesome - professional yet very friendly. Pizza (red and white) and pasta dishes were made with fresh ingredients. My favorite was and still is the broccoli rabe with sweet sausage - thin crust (not sure if they have thick crust) but everything was delicious.

Yes, there is a bar and TV, with sports, but due to NY state restrictions of COVID19, the seating area at the bar was closed. The alcoholic drinks were good. As of 12/2020, during the dine-in shut down, patrons were able to order alcoholic beverage in a tightly seal container to go, with their pick-up orders (this was an anticipated addition, hopefully they were able to continue with the idea). I am unfamiliar with any possible changes or restrictions related to the alcohol take-out.

Note, Seppe's is a small place. My visits were always around noon, so I never had to wait for a table. Parking meters and garage parking available within walking/stepping distance. During the pandemic, temperature check required upon entry. Again, due to the pandemic, seating was selection off by tables w/4 seatings and clear plexiglass as dividers - really nicely done. The dividers match the decor of the restaurant.

AND, an added plus, they are located steps from the waterfront with benches. So take your pizza or pasta dish to go and sit on the bench and enjoy the view. Sorry, I don't think you can have an open alcoholic drink outside. Ck with NY State Law. I don't want any violators- we all have enough to worry about.

The only downside of Seppe is the menu is...

The space is inviting and the pizza is excellent! We ordered the red 12" square Margherita pie. It was perfectly cooked and not thick and bready like most square pies. Just enough crisp to the crust and full of flavor! Order a Seppe House Salad (arugula with parmesan cheese ribbons and lemon wedges). Pair it with a nice bottle of Sicilian red wine and you're all set!

We also ordered the fried calamari and Chicken Milanese. Although cooked well, both were lacking in flavor. Increase the salt level and herbs on those dishes and they'll have my vote too!

This is a great place for a date night or dinner with the family. They have a nice bar if you just want to perch. The restaurant is part of the Urby complex located by the water. On a clear night it's a perfect setting for a stroll to see the city lights! Only a few stops from the SI Ferry, St. George Terminal, via the Staten Island Rapid Transit. Hop off at the Stapleton street stop and walk a half block toward the water. One of the local busses from the ferry will get you there too. If you're driving, there is an indoor parking garage and the restaurant will validate your ticket for up to two hours.

If you're visiting NYC, be sure to patronize this establishment and may other wonderful ones on Staten Island's...

This fantastic spot combines modern flair with classic Italian sensibilities in both the food and interior design. It seems hard for a restaurant anywhere in NYC to have modern decor without making the space feel inhospitably cold and gentrified, but Seppe feels upscale and updated without pretentiousness. There's no pretentiousness in menu pricing either, ~$15-35/plate depending on your choice. I went for a date, and both our pastas were spectacularly inspired modern takes on classic Italian cuisine. I forgot what my pasta was called, but it was a delightful little mushroom and arugula pasta that was fresh and filling without being overly heavy. The shape of the bowl makes it look deceivingly small in photos but it was a full serving I promise you! I grew up raised by a New York Italian foodie dad with high standards, and I'd even take him here. To me, that's the highest level of achievement a restaurant can have, so I'll be visiting again for sure!

Yummy, Seppe one of the first restaurants in the Urby (and still going strong), they must be doing something right. I’ve been here a dozen times, everything I’ve tried here has been delicious. They have an open kitchen concept and the chef enjoys interacting with the clients, giving a very homey vibe. I usually sit at the bar where the bartenders (most of the time friendly) make great drinks, my favorite tequila martinis but I’ve heard their old fashions are pretty good. We recently came with a group of four, close to closing and they were still accommodating even when we sent back pasta that wasn’t cooked fully. They quickly fixed the issue with a smile and with no hesitation. We had the beets salad, calamari (nice and big), the shrimp pasta dish as well as the mushroom and pasta, everything had a great taste. Also Come try their hot honey pizza they’ve been serving it before the hype and boy is it delicious! See you there.
