Read moreAtmosphere seems nice, clean, and minimalistic. Gelato is delicious. We purchased 2 "classics" which allows for two flavors in 1 cup. I believe other establishments will put the flavors side by side. The counter person couldn't be bothered and just put them one on top of the other. Service was not tip worthy. She genuinely seemed annoyed to have to work when we walked in. When I inquired what was in one of the flavors, she told me vanilla and chocolate with a tone as saying "YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT". She forgot what we ordered and seemed annoyed as if we had ordered too many things for her to handle. She literally rang us up, turned the POS my way and walked away. She didn't bother to ask if we wanted a receipt or say thank you. She didnt even wait around to see if we actually paid. Needless to say, no tip for her. It was about 80 degrees today and she's very comfortable in an air conditioned place that doesn't seem to get much traffic. She should be grateful considering the workers at Ralph's are in a tiny enclosure on top of each other and have non-stop stream of customers. Will I go back? Perhaps I'll take a look to see who is working the front...
Read moreUpdate: 6/26/20205 Since last review, and being in the area during their store hours, I finally got to visit Gelaterra. It wasn't open too long and I was the only one in the store. I will say that the gelato was very good. It reminded me of what I had in Italy. Now I update it from 1 star to 5 stars.
My daughter and I was there Sat, 7/6/2024 for Gelato after having brunch at the Urby. I was so looking forward to it but was disappointed that it was closed. There's a big sign on their window that says Yes we are open. We couldn't find any post for their hours. My daughter searched in the web and found a site that said open at 12:00 and it was 12:36. I now see in Google maps that they open at 2 on Saturdays. I look forward to trying again based on the hours posted on...
