This place is beautiful! I love Dimitri!!!!!! & b.t.w. friends, I mean, Dimitri the Security Guard!!!
The bartender, who's name is also Dimitri (b/c's' everyone's name there is Dimitri) wiggled his fingers and charged me an 18% Service Fee on 1 Free Beer & 1 Regular Lagunitas IPA, for a Whooping Nominal Total of 21 dollars & 17 cents!!!
Thanks Dimitri the bartender for adding an additional 18% Tip, to a 9 dollar beer, for a total of 21 dollars, on something that even says on your Website that is Free99 on your first visit!! (After clicking the website; Put in your email, and, upon your first visit to the establishment, we give you 1 free drink upon your 1st Purchase, of any drink... aka buy a dwink! one dwink! on da house! aka "What A Match" Deal!!!
.....
I delightfully paid my monies after a pretty chill conversation with the security guard.
I understand now why some' just walk out of businesses.
The bartender didn't wink. Gave no smile. Didn't hand out any 'free' water.
I thought so gallantly, 'What a Steal'!!!
Bartender Dimitri, just coldly gave me a 21 dollar bill, on a 9 dollar tab.
I practically got smacked in my as*
In many, many, ways..
How delightful!!! 😆
In reality, there's really Nothing in here but fresh cold tables, fake IG's, fake advertising, people nominally speaking Prussian-Russian, bartenders that 'bite' & don't 'wanna' speak English.. Some kind folk from the neighborhood.. But I can see absolutely why no 1 goes in there...
They seem to need an overwhelmingly fresh start.
&
'Da Bartender' Dimitri, needs to understand the courteous nature of "that" neighborhood, cause he's turning this new place into a garden of cement in the
Beer Garden Cement Hole Titanic, as in, Let me Sink This Place Faster than a Torpedo Sonar Guided Cement Vessel Flooring , etc, etc , etc ...
I mean a new Language in most cases is learned to survive. A smile is a "love" language mostly known and commonly used as a polite gesture in pretty much every single "island" & every single "country" in the world. & the literacy of a humbling "handshake" does the same... so..
Welcome Bartender Dimitri, to the most International City by domine in the World. The Whole Wide World!!!
& Thanks Again Security Dimitri for a great conversation of older times in NYC where we use to go on the board walk, drink, play music, toss a ball, hold hands with our children, have a bon fire, ride on our bikes with walkie talkies, meet our significant other and fellow peers and discuss magazines, blockbuster releases, the post, admire stars by the bon fire.
Thanks Bartender Dimitri, for ruining such a humbling time. & for continuing to destroy our city.
But my significant other and I will be back. and take another bite. or. get bitten. 🤭
We're beach bums and love this...
Read moreThis place is a GEM by the Brighton Beach Boardwalk in Brooklyn, New York. We came here with family and friends and boy what a fantastic atmosphere. It’s clear the owner invested a lot of money into the design and details. Very chill and comfortable environment. Plenty of TVs all around for all sports and current events.
As for the staff, I don’t think I’ve experienced better service in Brooklyn. Extremely attentive, they clean the empty places and rubbish every couple minutes from the tables, and are actually looking to do and offer anything they can to better your meal (sauces, sides, etc) . It’s the little things that staff pay attention to that makes the staff here stand out. The bartender is very much a people person, smiling and adding the necessary attention and detail to each drink.
The food is out of this world. Even the simple foods seem to taste better here again because of the little details added to the plate. The most important thing is the food is consistent. It’s not the first time we’ve come but because of our experiences we know that no matter when we come the food will be consistent and we will have a good time.
The place does also have security so safety is no concern.
Highly highly recommend this place whether you’re local or just visiting Brighton Beach. This owner really cares to give you the best experience. 5...
Read moreI recently visited Boardwalk Beer Garden and had an overall enjoyable experience, though there’s definitely room for improvement. The food is decent—nothing particularly memorable, but it gets the job done if you’re looking for something casual to go with your drink. The real highlight here is the beer selection: with about ten different options on tap, there’s enough variety to keep most beer lovers satisfied. Whether you’re into lagers, IPAs, or something more adventurous, you’ll likely find something to enjoy.
The staff is friendly, upbeat, and welcoming, which really helps set a laid-back tone. However, things could be a bit more organized—orders can take a while, and there’s some confusion during busy hours. To be fair, they’re working under tough conditions with lots of loud, sometimes unruly customers, which can’t be easy.
The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a solid spot to hang out with friends or unwind after a long day, especially if you’re into a boardwalk vibe. It’s not a must-visit destination, but it’s a good, casual stop if you’re in the area and want a beer and a bite. I’d give it 4 stars mostly for the vibes and...
