Brooklyn BBQ should be rated between 3 and 4 stars. Having been to BBQ joints across the country, I can say the food is OK but not anything special. I had the ribs for my dinner. The meat was well cooked, falling off the bone but on the dry side. The sauce they gave in the plastic container was tasty. I found the cornbread too sweet. The cornbread was also the smallest serving I have ever seen, it was maybe 1/2" thick, 1.5" wide and 2" long. Most BBQ places would give you portion at least 5 times as large, if not larger. The homemade chips are good, though it would be nice to have other options, like sweet potato fries. I ordered the lemonade as it was a warmish evening. We went on a Wednesday night and surprisingly was not busy. We ordered an array of bbq items such as the ribs, brisket, and the wings. We also got a couple of sides (Mac n cheese, chips, coleslaw, potato salad, and cornbread). Everything was super yummy and tender. My favorites were probably the ribs and the brisket. They were so soft, juicy, and flavorful that I barely had to chew anything. They were al essentially fall off the bone type of tender.
