The Binc — Restaurant in New York

I stopped in for drinks on Halloween and had a great time. They had decorated the whole bar and it had a spooky vibe. I tried a few cocktails off their special menu and really enjoyed them. Nicole the bartender was super helpful in describing the drinks. One of them was a take on a Trinidad sour which I didn't know existed, but using some pumpkin related ingredient. It was one of the most interesting drinks I've ever had and absolutely delicious.

I also got the chance to try some of the food. I ordered a burger, medium rare, which came out perfectly cooked and delicious. I got about half way through until my girlfriend arrived and gobbled up the rest, remarking on how good it was. We also went with the meat and cheese plate which we liked. I would 100% recommend asking for extra bread because you're going to need it. It was pretty dark so I couldn't tell exactly what the cheese were but there was a salty probably Italian cheese, a milder cheese, and something what was definitely goat or sheep's milk based. The meats looked like some sopresta and maybe speck or prosciutto. Overall a solid meat and cheese plate for $21.

I'll definitely be back here in the future. From the other reviews it sounds like I need to make sure to hip up happy hour, $8 for a cocktail here...

My bf and I were very excited when we discovered this little spot but unfortunately we will not be returning. Drink glasses were still dirty and had lipstick stain on ‘em which is unacceptable for any food establishment. It discouraged me from even drinking their water which they pour into a separate green glass bottle. If drink glasses are dirty, I wondered what else? The waiter was nice but maybe new or inexperienced? The item I had originally ordered was not brought out and I got charged for a replacement that I did not agree to. It would’ve been the correct thing to do to inform me that the item I requested was no longer available or something. When I mentioned the fact that my original item was not brought out, the waiter was not apologetic and just agreed that I didn’t get it but did nothing about it. Other places would’ve not only acknowledged or apologized, but also taken the item off the bill considering it was not what the customer...

Nice vibe, they share a kitchen with a great Italian restaurant next door so the food is delicious and definitely a couple of levels above your typical bar menu. The lighting is comfortably dim, candles add a romantic atmosphere, music is chill and stimulating at the same time. good selection of lounge tracks hand picked by the staff and is not so loud that you cant have a conversation.. playlist is hand picked by the bartender/dj. last but not least: amazing cocktails, very creative and some are truly unique, bartender Soso is an artist and I don't ever want to go drinking anywhere else. He deserves a Michelin star. My partner and I both highly recommend that you check this place out at least once - I guarantee you will...
