I understand the bakery is new but they have Google hours listed as opening at 7am but when I got there they have a small sign on the door that says pastries don’t start coming out until 8am. So I came back at 8am and not everything was available so I came back again close to 9am when they FINALLY had everything on the menu for the day available for purchase. (That was definitely super annoying and for people with a tight schedule-plan accordingly!) I still remain a loyal customer even after that experience and had almost every item on the menu since they’ve opened. My top 3 choices would be the Kouign Amann, maple glaze blueberry scone & the cinnamon roll. Scone is great but unfortunately, it’s not consistent with the filling. In the 5 times I’ve ordered it, it was only filled with a good amount of blueberry twice. The experience is never the same, but the flavor is great. I personally love blueberry and for the price, it should have more than 3 blueberries. (Video of my Recent Experience attached)The combination of the raspberry and Yuzu in the Kouign Amann is stellar, and deserves more praise. cinnamon rolls in an air tight container are only good for up to 2 days before the texture starts changing but you can salvage it by heating them up. The biscuit I had recently was egg and cheese which was just okay, personally not worth the price even though it was big. Flavor was basic and the biscuit is super dry so have a drink ready. All and all it’s great for people who need allergen free baked goods

I came here because of a TikTok video, and the cinnamon roll REALLY lives up to the hype — it is everything and more! Perfect location in Noho and so happy they also serve my favorite Devocion coffee. The space is bright - I love the yellow it makes it welcoming, and the staff were very kind. Now, the pastries… wow! We got the cinnamon roll originally we wanted to share but we ended up getting one each! My partner isn’t gluten-free, but he said the cinnamon roll is the best he has ever had. He said is not gooey like other cinnamon rolls where it’s just doughy this was crispy and has great texture! — he couldn’t even tell it’s gluten-free. The biscuit with egg and cheese was moist and delicious. The donut pastry with lemon custard on top was outstanding; the custard really makes the flavor an I loved the flaky layers and just the right amount of sweetness. I also got the scone and banana bread, both of which were excellent and we had them the next day as breakfast at home! I’m so happy to try this gem of a place it is a fantastic addition to Noho and New York City. I can’t wait to go back and try the cupcakes and other items!

As a girl with a wheat allergy, Bub’s is a dream come true! Their cinnamon roll is to DIE for. Tastes exactly like the Cinnabon cinnamon rolls I had as a kid pre-wheat allergy diagnosis (lol). It’s buttery, flakey, and has a croissant-like texture with layers. Served warm, too! Amazing. Wish it came with a bit more frosting, but otherwise it’s perfect. We also got the banana bread, which was okay. Kind of dry and nothing too special. Maybe it’d be better warmed up with some salted butter. They have plenty of other treats (including banana pudding, which was sold out at 4 PM when we went) that I cannot wait to try! Overall, a great experience. The line looked long, but went by quickly. Kind of expensive, but it’s gluten free and New York. Worth it!

Glad this store exists for food restricted people and the treats are mostly tasty.

Surprising favorites, get this: KOUIGN AMANN ... This is better than the cinnamon roll. It's not quite as heavy or as cloyingly sweet, since the delicious citrus custard and fruit jam lighten the sweetness and add zing to the flavor and you get more tasty lamintated crispy edges and less of the doughy center.

Maple glaze blueberry scone - another surprise, maple glaze is somehow not too sweet, and the texture is more similar to nice scone, if slightly crumblier.

Banana pudding - strong on the vanilla, creamy with a slightly mousse-y texture that makes it feel lighter, no off tastes, don't miss the dairy at all. Delicious, would definitely get again. Maybe a tad too sweet, otherwise I'd want a full size portion, but at its current sweetness, the baby cup is the right size. Could also see this making a wonderful tart.

Biscuit egg and cheese - Recommend with reservations -its really heavy, a brick of a sandwich. Don't attempt to eat one if you already ate, you won't be able to finish. But it's tasty, if dense (the biscuit flavor works, but it's definitely not fluffy like a typical biscuit), and I would get it again for the savory hit. It's a decent egg and cheese replica if you can't have actual egg and cheese biscuit, and doesnt have the greasiness of a real one. The plant cheese is especially nice, unlike many plant cheeses I've had, it doesn't scream "I'm made of plants, don't blame me for tasting weird". But I'd say Bubs can stand to give it a little more jazz to make it more memorable, given its a $12 item.

Ok Cinnamon roll - unpopular opinion, but if you don't like normal ones, or don't like overly sweet things, skip and get the kouign Amman instead. Even if you do like sweet things, make sure to eat as soon as possible, because if eat immediately, it's a 7,8 out of 10, if you let it sit, it becomes a heavy, soggy thing and turns into like a 2 that I couldn't finish and had to throw out.

Cookies fine, on the dense/chewy side and flavorful. Not mind blowing but would certainly get again if mood strikes.

Savory mushroom Danish is ok, flavor is fine, but you can really feel the difference in the laminations here vs what you'd normally expect from something called a Danish. It's like bread layers vs flaky layers. If you really can't eat a normal Danish and have a big hankering, try it. But would prob be a while before I get again.

Disappointing Banana bread - I love banana bread. I've had lots of different kinds of banana bread and am generally pretty forgiving. I could eat it every other day. I'd think it also ought to lend itself to allergen free baking given that it's dense by nature already. But their banana bread had a weird oily taste, while being a bit chalky/crumbly. Dunno if it got a bad batch or what, but if not, they need to fix the recipe or swap it for something else cuz their menu is very limited and right now it doesn't really deserve a spot (it pains me to say this cuz I love banana bread).

I'd love to try their chocolate cupcakes, but I've been 3 times in the am and somehow they never had it.

All in all, I'm really grateful a place like this exists, because there's something so nice about being able to walk in a place and and order everything without worrying or asking about the ingredients (IYKYK). People clearly appreciate this too BC they're usually popping and their treats are not cheap. But despite that I'm being a little stricter in the rating because I think they definitely have room to improve, especially with coming up with treats that play to the strengths of the ingredients, and are objectively good without considering the ingredients...
