Randomly stopped by at Laderach and had no intention of getting anything at all until I saw the truffles! Lol

At first the boxed truffles looked so tempting but I brushed it off saying I dont really need anything right now..just browsing. While looking further I noticed the place was very clean and organized, the chocolates displayed were fresh and obviously of good quality but another observation was how the staff were just so wonderful! Not just one staff but all! You could tell from their interactions with the customers they were talking to that they were pleasant so it actually makes you comfortable checking the place out, taking your time and actually trying a few samples - it took the pressure off and made the visit enjoyable.

With that positive feeling I ended up just trying the truffles on display. I was surprised they would actually allow you to sample them! I think hubster and I actually tried 3 truffles (we shared of course) and ended up buying a box! Lol We had such a wonderful experience especially when Paul assisted us and made recommendations. The Pralines Pave that he had us try was a favorite! Surprisingly this cubed coco-powdered truffle was the only vegan truffle there but it was perfectly sweet and delectable! A must have for sure!

I’ll make sure to grab some truffles again whenever Im around...

My recent visit to Läderach Chocolates was an absolute treat for the senses. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in an aura of chocolatey heaven. Paul, the welcoming host, made our experience even more delightful by allowing us to sample their delectable creations.

I couldn't resist indulging in a variety of their offerings, and I was blown away by the quality and taste. The hazelnut milk chocolate had a perfect balance of nuttiness and creaminess, while the almond chocolates provided a satisfying crunch that complemented the smoothness of the chocolate. And the mix of their specialties was a true symphony of flavors that left me craving for more.

Every bite was a celebration of sweetness, creaminess, and rich, luxurious flavor. It's clear that Läderach takes immense pride in crafting chocolates that are a cut above the rest. The dedication to quality is evident in each piece, and it's easy to see why they're considered masters of their craft.

Whether you're a chocolate aficionado or simply someone with a sweet tooth, Läderach Chocolates is a must-visit destination. Treat yourself to an experience that will transport you into a world of scrumptious delight. This is not just chocolate – it's an artful masterpiece that you won't...

My review is the one stop for what you need to know about this place. If you want the short answer - it's great and worth the money.

Now let's break this down for you. The chocolate is made in Switzerland, which means it's the best already. Not only that but it's not just a basic milk chocolate store. This place has a variety of slabs of chocolate ranging from pure milk to nut mixtures, to something as wild as everything behind their counters. Not only that, they also have tiny, miniature chocolates that you can pick and choose for your liking in the counter in the back.

And if that wasn't enough for you, they also have standard bars that outperform their competition flavor wise. Price wise, yes, it's expensive. But it's worth every last penny for the quality you're getting.

The staff works very hard, you can tell, and the amount of people that pour in really put them at their feet. Very kind people that will answer every question you throw at them and constantly moving to make sure everything works well.

If you want the best chocolate, you come here. This is like that scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where Grandpa Joe was working at Willy Wonka's candy store (only this is more chocolate...

Smack in the middle of 5th Ave, this is an amazing place for lovers of chocolate. The chocolate is swiss made and delectable. I like sweet chocolates and this has an amazing variety of choclates, gift boxes, and barks. Staff is very helpful and they hand out samples.

Laderach is currently my favorite Swiss chocolatier. This location is very convenient as are it’s hours of operation not closing until 9pm helps when in need of a last minute gift. This is not a restaurant though for some reason google has it’s review for this set up as one. How much you spend is based on how many gifts you purchase (plus whatever you pick up for yourself). Their 2.3 oz bars are currently $8 each & the chocolate bark is sold by the pound. ($80 per pound if I remember correctly) I usually just ask for a $20 piece. They also have premade assortments from $30 & up. Plus a truffle counter where you can create your own assortment based on personal tastes if you have the time or you can pick up premade assortments of these as well. They also sell popcorn covered in various types of chocolate & cute heart shaped chocolates (sorry I should have taken more pictures)
