Chinese 5 Star — Restaurant in New York

DO NOT EVER BUY FOOD FROM FIVE STAR CHINESE RESTAURANT. I have been buying food from these people for over 10 years and although I have had small issues with their food and service, I held my tongue most of the time except on 2 occasions - 1 time I found wired bristles in my chicken wings, which I took back and showed to Cindy who changed my order reluctantly. 2nd time I found a hair in my broccoli. When I called to tell them, they said no problem we'll send you another order. I offered to show them the piece of broccoli with the hair wrapped in it. The owner showed up at our door demanding that we show him the whole order. We explained to him we only kept the piece with the hair and we threw the rest of the order out as his wife told us she didnt need to see it. He had the nerve to say he shouldnt have to give us a full order since it was only one piece of broccoli that had the hair on it. Alap telling us that he needed to see the hair because he has no hair on his head. I dont know what kind business these people are running. I cannot believe how rude these people are especially given that my family and I have been loyal...

The lady did not charge the price on the menu. I ordered 2 cheese wonton($12) and one order of rib tips with vegetables fried rice($9) total order should cost $21 with out tax but the lady asked for $30 once she saw that is what I had in my hand. I managed to get back at $2 from her after I pointed out the cost on menu. She was stating the sauces for the wonton were additional and that the rib tips had bone also that the menu prices are not up to date. They need to say that prices have gone up and sauces will be extra charge before you order. They should take down those menus and...

They suck … the rice was watery plus they only gave me one duck sauce and when I called to let them know the lady said if I wanted more that’s extra money . so since when did they start charging for more duck sauce ? Mind you she thought she put 2 in the bag and she didn’t so I told her I wanted more duck sauce from the jump when I ordered . I’m never ordering from this bumass Chinese store again . They giving two duck sauce and charging you if you want more knowing that the customer will want more …. They think they slick ….. but always want a tip but you charging for sauce...
