Chuko Ramen & Sake — Restaurant in New York

Do not come here! If you sit at the counter, you have to order from the QR Code, which explains nothing...Been to many places... Tonkatsu Ramen has pork in it. Just to make sure, before ordering, I asked the guy server if the tonkatsu ramen had pork in it? His answer..".YES, it has pork, tonkatsu means pork" So we order Tonkatsu ramen.....then my husband says...I think we have to order pork seperate, because it said to "add on" I go back to the male server amd ask him again if tonkatsu ramen has pork....his answer NOW....Oh no you have to order pork meat separate. I told you it has '"pork broth" He's a LIAR! Go somewhere else! Servers dont know how to explain a menu...

I've been to this spot before and it was awesome. Sushi was awesome. Ramen was awesome. This time, it's just okay. I came here hoping for the same experience and to satisfy my itch for Ramen. I was disappointed. It wasn't terrible but the comments I saw about pretty much all the add ons is true and the prices are nuts. I still got Ramen for the nostalgia. Tastes good. Sushi was okay. Would still recommend this spot on cold days in New York or if you're feeling under the weather traveling. I'll still come back here when I pass...

Chuko Ramen is my go-to when at LaGuardia. The service is very fast, it’s usually not too crowded and the food is mostly great. The ramen can be a bit salty, but I keep ordering it. The cucumbers are terrific. The sushi and rice is also a good option and for airport sushi, it’s excellent quality. The drink selection is great as well, they have a wide range of sakes.
